Always good to be aware of things going on in the world that MSM won't report on....

God understands the system we are living in and some things we cannot help like our taxes that go to bad things. But they also go to good things like keeping our roads in good shape and many other things(police, firefighters). That is why Jesus says to give God's things to God and Caesar's things to Caesar(taxes).

Handy that TPTB have Jesus sayng that? Sort of gives them the moral high ground. when in reality They call someone who doesn't do so a "tax cheat." they have things upside down.

Theft is to take someone's property against his will, i.e., by force or fraud. There isn't a clause in the definition that says, "unless the king or the state takes the property; then it's no longer theft." It's much as if a mugger grabs you on the street. You have no moral obligation to give him your money. On the contrary, you have a moral obligation to deny him that money. Does it matter if the thief says he's going to use it to feed himself? No. Does it matter if he says he's going to feed a starving person he knows? No. Does it matter if he's talked to other people in the neighborhood, and 51% of them think he should rob you to feed the starving guy? No. Does it matter if the thief sets himself up as the government?

The excuse about teachers, policeman is as old as the hills. We all work for four to five months a year to pay teachers and police etc. That is not the truth, that is just a small part of the big picture. And given how poorly all these services are run, and how they are always the first cut, never military or all the other destructive BS the truth is we indirectly support all the damage they do to us and to others with our tax money

Jesus said it the best way of how to live in this world:

John 17:15 "My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified."

So even though we have to live in this world and participate in things we would rather not(like giving taxes knowing that even though they go to good things they go to bad as well) that it is not held against us and that God will help us navigate through it all.

So even though we are doing it we are protected seems like a cop out clause? You know been a lot easier and if jesus had spent sometime on how through the monetary system they have control or shown us how we can all live just fine without their system. Which we can but it is so entwined now it would be harder to break. If that had been taught and handed down we would not be in this situation and we would not have needed "it is okay if you do it but you are protected anyways

BTW, you mentioned working for a corrupt company. That is something we can help. Leave it. It is better to be a humble window washer than to be a rich person who is knowingly receiving money from corruption. Karma comes into play then(well, it is always in play). What we do always come back to us. Good and bad. So keep yourself as 'clean' as you can be. God does not expect perfection from us but He does expect us to stay as far from badness as we can. Always pray for guidance and follow it.

All good in theory but the last few years alone have forced us to react, respond etc in all kinds of ways just to try and survive. sometimes we have had to move fast or think quick or whatever just to do that. regardless of how you pace yourself it gets tiring and if this drags on for several more years it is going to get very tiring for a lot more people. Resources will get less, tensions/stress will rise, 'rainy day preps" will be dipped into, money etc will get tighter, govt control even tighter and so on. Keep in mind that all these next 5 to ten years will do is be more of the last 4 years but worse. Then we will have collapse, war, and famine. So after 10 - 15 years of trying to pace ourselves in the current situation which will only get worse, we then have to pace ourselves for war etc.

Don't know about you but there is only so much pacing once can do before they are just too tired. That is assuming during all this pacing you and family don't get sick, lose jobs and income,and therefore health insurance lose homes etc. Because there is going to be a lot more of that happening.

Thanks DNYC I know all that was raised catholic just not sure I believe it, and if you see what I bolded above and satan and his TPTB friends have been running things for thousands of years here then I think our souls were long lost, as we have all been directly or indirectly for death, destruction, famine, stealing etc. Every day we live in and depend on this system to survive we are causing harm.

You could say that satan has won 99% of the battle. What are we to believe that God is going to show up one minute to midnight and stop it all? I don't know just seems made up and stuff spread around to control the masses

OP, I know you are working now, but I have faith that you will check new posts and find this. I found this through citizenperth's post today and it is truely amazing - don't know if you have seen it yet. I have studied everything talked about on itand this ties EVERYTHING together in a very plausible fashion which has me rethinking my timetable. This is big. A collapse son is one thing but slowly over the next 24 years requires a completely different plan. I have a lot of work to do but sharing this concept if first. Blessing to you.

A marathon huh people? Yes you are all wise and are all correct. I used to run cross country but that was 40 years ago, I might be screwed! Indeed it looks to be a long haul operation so I have no choice but to plan for an extended campaign and hope that my strength holds out. If not I might fall by the wayside but you, you youngsters should gird your loins for this type of timeframe and may God be with you and guide you all.

When I started working at 18 they called me "The Kid" and had me do all the low end work. I was told that in time I would be the experienced veteran and that new "Kids" would come along for me to teach and instruct.

Somehow I have not run across many Kids to share my experiences with, but when the occasion arise I relish the opportunity. Hopefully this will improve as time goes by.
