R U serious. OP has not posted anything that most of us that follow what is happening in the world don't know. well apart form his space/sky thing and that is a few years off.

As for war etc it is all possible, but I don't think it will happen this week, could be wrong, and OP could be right. if he is wrong then I will stick with my instinct he is just putting the pieces together, like most of us, and making a guess.

Which also means his three years from now space thing is also a guess.

Look, who knows what's going to happen but OP resonates with me and many of us believe him. I'd say your opinion is noted but I tend to ignore those who use questions like "R U serious."

So on the subject of preparedness... Over the past 3 years here are some of the things I have done to prepare for the unknown:
1. Solar panels on a gazebo which allows me to charge cell phones, run a fan and other small appliances. Bought an invereter and 12 volt minor appliances.
2. Filled 4 55 gallon water barrels which I empty and refill every 6 months and also add bleach to keep the water purified
3. Purchased 6 months supply of freeze dried canned foods. Store them behind and under things and in closets in the house to keep them cool.
4. Bought a bicycle with extra tires and flat fixers in case gasoline can not be purchased.
5. Created a functioning vegetable garden that provides all the vegetables we need throughout the year.
6. Moved a large % of savings into silver and gold. Stored in safe locations.
7. Created an online and local network of like-minded people who are also storing supplies and are willing to share during hard times.
8. Bought all kinds of do-it-yourself books
9. Went back to school to become a massage therapist so that I know more about the human body and how to reduce common pains. I still work fulltime in a management position.
10. Made shutters to cover all windows. Also bought plastic sheeting to cover inside windows if needed.
11. Learned how to can foods.
12. Bought 2 guns with plenty of ammo just in case. Using them now to kill snakes for target practice.
13. Bought a generator for emergencies.
14. Have a solar oven for cooking outside with only solar power.
15. Stashed away plenty of candles, matches, oil and oil lamps.
16. Put in shelving in the garage for 1 years supply of TP, paper plates, utensils, detergents, you name it.
17. Good supply of medicines and medications
18. Good supply of games and things for entertainment.

What am I missing?

I am in W WA, from the terrain I see I have to assume it is someplace that looks like central AZ, therefore AZ, NM poss parts of TX, S CO I don't know.
I've been to the SW US it looks like that.
