In times of chaos, when all around you is in panic, those with calm head and straight thinking will be relied upon.

There is no harm preparing for events that you can prepare for. There is no harm in learning what may unfold. There is no harm in learning new skills.

The only harm is knowing you could have prepared but did nothing when such an event does occur.

I have nothing against you or your message, but it's all very general stuff we have all been talking about here for years. And no date.

1. Economic meltdown - well, it kind of started in 2008 and the writing was on the wall here for some time, before and after.

2. Middle East burns - nothing new

3. Global pandemic - we had several scares.

4. Famine - strained global resources and famine have been discussed over and over again too. Problems with the bees too.

So thing is this little birdie might just as well have read GLP for the past 5 years. Slap the little birdie!

Ok OP I have inside info on flu pandemics but it's old and still relevant. I suppose my problem with your whole thread and posts are how can someone know "they" are going to release such a bad one? I mean swine flu was very disappointing to them I'm sure, but I don't think "they" want a 90% death rate, just enough for martial law. Unless they have made it race-specific. And in that case people would be very tight-lipped. Any hint on how one can predict a pandemic?
