Sometimes it seems as if we're purposely distracted from unpredictable /uncontrollable natural events with predictable/controllable wars, scandals, downturned economies, and whatnot. Or the spector of marauding zombies, extra-terrestrials, and Godzilla...

I truly feel the old tales, lore, lays, poems were ways of keeping knowledge alive; as were rock drawings, cave paintings, and other forms of "primitive art". Very little separates us of today from us of yesteraeons. The little bits & pieces of separation are closely guarded tho; known to a select few. (Speculation on my part only.)

Anni, about the two suns in photography. It's caused by series of angles reflecting the image. Try this, if you wear glasses, especially multi-focals: look in the general direction of the sun (not directly at it!). You'll see one sun. Now tilt your head either to one side & upward, or one side & downward. There will be a point where the glasses distort the image angle and it appears as if two suns are in the sky.

If your lenses have prisms, it's even more interesting. You can see full arc rainbows around the twin suns! This kept me entertained hours as a little one...that and rainbows in sunbeams.

Yes, hubbikins is adjusting to retirement quite well *grin* Going from a "professional career position" to "common day labourer" has been entertaining to watch. Physical labour isn't a nasty phrase...but the naughty language penny basket is getting filled fast lately. He still has stars in his eyes of becoming a "gentleman farmer" LOL rather like living "The Egg and I". (Great old movie, if you haven't see it.) Me? Laid-off old lady who said FTW, cashed out a 403B, and lives in LaLa Land ;-)

Hubbikins holds the tether cables so I don't float away like a wayward balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. We make a good pair. And, I'm making a bundle in pennies. Wonder how mixed-copper will trade some day.

Was reading the thread about grain futures. Something really stood out. No sorghum is listed. Sorghum is sillage, commonly used as sweet cattle feed. If memory serves correctly, more than corn. So...not sure where I'm going with this train of thought; wanted to put it out there.

Wish crabgrass didn't get such a bad rap. It is one of the BEST fodder grains. Highly dense in nutrients, rapidly growing & spreading. Produces billions of seeds. Very pretty, too; turns a glorious golden colour.

Funny thing, my front lawn is a beautiful green LOL. It self-seeded with "cow grass" over the years. (This area was originally farm/pasture land.) no idea what kind of grass it is; I call it cow grass. All of the fescue & rye lawns are crispy, crunchy, brown from this dry spell. The back lawn is all clover, meadowsweet, borage, and day lillies...and Willow.

Hi Anni. Aye! Especially if looking through even slightly dirty windows & screens. The dust/dirt particles create odd angles. If she used (especially) a digital camera with auto-focus, it may have focused on the screen area exactly where she was focusing her eyes. Older SLRs had a series of prisms & mirrors combined to change field of depth manually to compensate for anomalies.

If there were clouds or a storm coming in, it might have altered her perception, too. I have a photo taken off the Clearwater Causeway with what appears to be four suns (or luminous orbs) hovering in a 4-point compass pattern. I took it with an old Braun 35-mm SLR...well before the days of Adobe's Photoshop. The lighting was "just right"!

Not saying your friend didn't see & photograph twin suns. She certainly did ;-) Please compliment her.

LOL Rocky. I could just imagine you as a 40-mule team master in the 1800s. Yes, the townhouse is good size at 2400-sq' over three levels. What's taking so much time is the library and the music studio. That and we're packing, cleaning, taking to storage, refurbishing all at once. Add in cooking, laundry, walking the dog. I'm taking a break this afternoon...except for walking the dog...again.

The two ways to be sure is to film it outside and also use a coin or something to block the Sun. That would remove the sundog effect and all doubt.

Hi. My reading was very interesting, did you happen to read it?? I resonated with much of what she said but it didn't inspire any real emotion, just thoughtfulness. Basically, I died in a mudslide in the Andes along with all of my children and grandchildren trying to save them. I am a "saver" and also, I do have a peculiar heart-fluttering experience while passing signs which say "Caution: Falling Rocks." Hope all is well with you too.

yes I did and it made sense to me. I remembered a post you did several months ago where you asked certain members to come and talk about their positions. It did not last long, but it spoke volumes about you. Your intution, and your drive to find the truth among varying viewpoints. Sandi's reading went beyond that and said you have this wisdom already, but for some reason you chose to manifest in a form that people will not listen, so you depend on others to back up, verify what you think.

For me the question Sandi raised was not that you save but why have you allowed your voice to have not enough command when people need to be saved.

A very interesting and kind perception....I thank you for sharing. What is interesting is that 2 weeks ago I moved geographically to a location right on a river. This river is in a valley and feeds into the Columbia River. Today as I was driving there was an emergency broadcast for local flash flooding.....I did my errands extra quickly and hurried back to my "loved ones."

Odd that you moved close to a river, I am guessing you did it to be nearer family. Curious, to be people in your current life listen to you, as it would seem from the reading that in your past they did not, and that is why you could not save them.

He has no need for those that will not listen to His Word.

I am done here, dusting off the old boots. Not because of spiritual attacks, these only make me stonger in Christ, but because my work here is now truley done. I am sure many will be happy to see me no longer here to stand against the spells of perverse vanities and flatteries being spewn about like smoke from a pit.

It certainly is a good show. I like to believe you in your heart think you're doing what is right. The truth of it is that you lay out a nice shiny table of fruit. There are pleanty of nice tasty pieces placed out front that hold bits of truth in them to glamor those who would be more concerned with their flesh and well being.

But I, my friend, seem to be the only one who can see the big overly ripe piece of fruit sitting just beyond the smaller ones. It is big, it is ugly, and it stinks onto the High Heavens because there is not one ounce of Christ in it.

You have flies buzzing around you and these fruits. They are of wickedness in high places. I know you have begged God to show you these things, and certainly you have been shown some things. What you don't know is God will only use those that know His Word in intimate detail and are True onto Him in the way He wishes that we know Him. For proof of this we only look to His true prophets written in the Book.

I challenge you to repent of your works and rebuke the bringers of these messages in Christ's Holy name. They will not leave easily as their claws are certainly sunk deep. But keep on rebuking and believe onto His Word with all of your heart and these nasty, putrid, bringers of lies and deceit will turn tale and run. Sometimes it takes some effort.

The Bible is all we as His children are going to get that holds Truth. Those that beg for more will certainly get it, as there is wickness in high places just waiting to hand it out. Be certain in Him that there will be no Truth in that which is received from spirit beyond the Word of God.

Well I'll be sorry to see you go. You've posted some interesting things over the course of the two threads! Never say never, stay lurking and chime up if/when you need too. That's what I do now.

Certain topics keep leading me to the same conclusions. People say history repeats but not many talk of events in history repeating even though the evidence is there. People say these events happen hundreds of thousands of years apart but evidence again says differently.

Discoveries in science etc are being announced at an ever-increasing and alarming rates. It isn't time speeding up but what is be being announced within time that is increasing. We are probably only a few months away from breakthroughs coming out almost hourly.

It feels like we are on the cusp of revelations about every aspect of our lives being found or un-hidden and told. People think one or two forms of control will collapse but it seems to me all forms of control will collapse as truth after truth shines its beautiful light.

The time for convincing is over. The cracks of truth behind these illusions are forming quickly and like a dam it will suddenly release huge waves of knowledge to the masses.

Don't get annoyed at others. Everyone now is taking their position whether they realise it or not. Enjoy your beliefs and let others enjoy theirs.

Darkness is empowered in this world now to deceive those that will not hold fast to faith. There will be a lot of prosperity and much knowledge will come forth as you mention. But by that time it will be very late in the game. Real Truth will come soon after and many will be ashamed.

The key is to understand prophesy.

Put what I said on the shelf for now. But do hear this, darkness is given much power at this time. So much so, that there is only one thing that is not completely controlled and manipulated by it. And that is the Truth in Christ which is many parts cyphered into the Bible.

Yes they hold other texts that would make things easier. But all we need is in the little book when you are graced with the ability to crack the acrostics, hebraisms, metaphors, and parables. The majority can not which is by Gods will.

The Creator's lessons are to be had all around when Christ returns. This flesh is not the end of the road and there is only one sentenced to perish at this time. There is no everlasting consciousness or torture in hell. Almighty God is a consuming fire. Every soul eventually gets to give Him a big hug and those that hold fast to thier rudiments will be burned away, up into smoke, gone forever.

My alignment is with Christ, Son of Almighty God, and those that bring His Truths alone.

I simply posted it here as it seemed the most logical place to go and the words are important for many to consider.

The shootings happened about 4 blocks from where we live...we go to that theater at least twice a month.

People will say that Aurora is a scary ghetto, but that's a lie. It's my home. Not talking to anybody here, I'm just frustrated with all the generalizations and wanted to put that out there.

Please pray for the victims, the witnesses and our community. We're all still in shock. I miss you guys and I know I'll have more to say later.

I saw it earlier and I'll take a look...his threads always point out a lot of interesting symbolism.

I just found out that one of the kids murdered was our neighbor. I just knew his mom in passing, but they only live about 5 houses down. I'd seen him around but the pic they've been posting of him doesn't look much like him to me so I didn't put two and two together at first. His friends have been putting flowers and notes on the corner. Even though I wasn't close to them I can't stop crying. I just still can't wrap my head around what's happened.
