Planet of the Apes
Planet of the Apes is Markey-Mark's greatest performance.
that's the one where Markey-Mark falls in love with a monkey.
(he went ape-shit over an ape, so to speak)

No way, man. Boogie nights. He surprised us all with his acting ability as a dumb kid caught up in the seemy underbelly of the Hollywood scene.

Wait....

Awesome. The series could have stopped after 2 movies. Not a huge fan of movies 3 or 4 but 5 is decent.

I wonder if these movies were meant to be prophetic;
- what it would be like if blacks took over the Earth.

Re: Planet of the Apes
Where there is fire, there is smoke.

And in that smoke, from this day forward, my people will crouch and conspire and plot and plan for the inevitable day of Man's downfall - the day when he finally and self-destructively turns his weapons against his own kind. The day of the writing in the sky, when your cities lie buried under radioactive rubble!

When the sea is a dead sea, and the land is a wasteland out of which I will lead my people from their captivity! And we will build our own cities in which there will be no place for humans except to serve our ends! And we shall found our own armies, our own religion, our own dynasty!

And that day is upon you... now!

Re: Planet of the Apes
I've been teaching those films are a CODE. Heston kneels upon Statue of Liberty which is ISIS while his wife and son and Joshua and wife kneel before him as Moses... in both cases IN THE VERY LAST SCENE of The 10 Commandments and POTA. Heson is uncredited in many people ignore he was the OLD APE dying quoting the same utterance of the original film: damnation to mankind. The film just before Burton's had a scene in which the human teacher called ABE appeared with young Cornelius chimp (named after his grandpa). The chimp corrected what was written on the blackboard "ape shall never kill ape" for 'ape shall never kill ABE" and we know that's the short abreviation of the president who was called "chimp" in life and whose monument is Freemason monument (like Statue of Liberty) mimics ZEUS TEMPLE and in Tarot is the emperor. Heston appeared TWICE in films of Julius Ceasar. Cornelius was also the same actor Roddy Mc Dowall who was Caesar and played Caesar Octavian in Cleopatra (nexus Egypt/Rome). The orangotango of the original film originally was gonna be played by Edward G Robinson who was Heston/Moses' foe (Dathan) in the Ten Commandments and who happened to become famous as a gangster in Little Caesar. Heston was chosen to play Moses by De Mille because his face looked like Michelangelo's statue with horns. He was Michelangelo in Agony and Ecstasy with the same actor who played Caesar with Mc Dowall in Cleopatra... his name was REX (meaning "king" in Latin just like Caesar means "hairy" in Latin) Harrison.

It's no coincidence Lincoln appearing in some many movies...

The dialogue in the 10 Commandments was about being a TORCH and proclaim LIBERTY and the film before Burton's was Battle of the Planet of the Apes. The black dude even mentions a "conspiracy" when recovering the old records of Cornelius and Zira underground.... but nobody sees that...
Heston himself being honored by Bush himself in real life with the medal of liberty (freedom)....

Actually it was actor Charlton Heston's idea to blow up the planet because he just wanted a cameo role. After all he was OMEGA MAN using the Alpha and Omega bomb and in True Lies with Schwarzenegger he enters the Omega Center wearing the Freemason blackpatch in one of his eyes and horns of light behind his head... you didn't notice of course.
