Not the (instigating) woman, not the (tuff guy can beat up a woman) man, but the children that were exposed to the violence in their own home.
A home is supposed to be a safe environment for children to grow, learn and appreciate life and home violence causes them to withdraw from life itself.

im guessing it was a breakup, divorce, etc. she had the camera running for protection, because she probably figured it'd go bad. i also think she instigated it the minute she walked into him and told him to leave in front of the kids.

why were the kids there and no 3rd party there making sure some domestic shit didn't go down? when mom whisked past dad, she also knocked into the kid.

and it wasn't about the playstation - it was about the relationship gone bad. I'm sure the playstation was just the item that focused the anger. for all I know, she chain-banged all of his friends, and that rage has been there for a while, waiting to get uncapped. still... doesn't make it right, but we have no idea what the true context is.

and now its on the internet, missing the rest of the video with the prior footage, without any explanation of the situation, etc, with all of us passing judgement on the people in the video.

so who wins? dad presses charges for mom hitting him. mom presses charge for dad hitting her. someone presses charges for the other party violating a probable restraining order by being in the house. and the kids... they go into foster care because mom and dad couldn't act like adults.

then there's me... who has to foot the bill for all this drama in my taxes as the cops get called, both idiots go to jail, and then the kids getting rolled into the system. I'm probably going to also have to fund healthcare on the kids because they are going to be so messed up and probably end up suicidal or need rehab, or worse... end up in jail.

I used it as well. I think I can safely speak for both of us when I say that we weren't using it in literal legal terms, more as a short form of "this was obviously a set-up".

In my day, you just didn't hit women. But, you were allowed to hit men. In sport, you were allowed to take out your primal urges and try to clobber someone. It was all in good fun, and boundaries were set. If you hit someone too hard, you got it back. With the sissification of men, they treat women as equals, which means punching them instead of being the bigger person. Instead of being the man. If the world keeps getting gayer, more of these little men will be punching women. If you try to erase the gender lines, it will work.

Yeah it was not right by any means BUT I agree she instigated it. Putting herself in front of his TV and/or possessions and saying she is defending herself? She drew that punch in for her benefit and took one for the team.
