Re: Ron Paul's master plan is to lose every state and collect the most delegates
Paul received nearly half in VA, where Obama was the first democrat to win in generations or ever.

Old people, they mostly hate but rarely think, Romney the Romulan is their baby face, their "ticket".

Paul's message should have been, that even if you don't agree with his whole platform, as President he would still have to contend with congress (the clueless voters don't even see this), but he would be able to pull America back in the right direction in many ways and whatever the people didn't go along with would balance things out politically on the other end.

Do you honestly think the Obama administration is diplomatic towards us and not just purely part of some globalist Empire?

Are the other Republicans besides Paul not even crazier?

So you can thank all of the old fossil people who don't even put things into a broader perspective as well as anti-Paul GLP posters posting here, because they like to have a scapegoat, and not do what is right and at the very least support Ron Paul to be the primary winner in order for him run for President so there can be a real debate.

This is common sense.

I don't know what he can do to get enough delegates at this point, though.

He has to go bigger if there is any hope at all.

Paul is a boring old shit that talks about stuff people don't seem to give a shit about. He will fade into history....UNLESS he runs as an independent after the primary. Only then will he fade into history slower....same result however. Every speech is the same. A robotic old man. He lost because he can't adjust and react or debate. Too bad, but way true and you all know it.

And that attitude is exactly why nothing will ever change. You agree something needs to change but when that you are asked to sacrifice in anyway you immediately change your tune.

Your not alone, most of the human race are self serving and are either unwilling or unable to think more than one or two steps ahead even if it were for the benefit of their children and their children's children.

Nothing is going to change America's fate. People will not change their mind until the economy collapses and by then it will be to late.

When the US dollar finally collapses its taking a great deal of the world economy with it. The US economy is floating on artificial liquidity What do you think is going to happen when someone pulls the plug on the drain?

America is screwed.

This is a perfect example of how the cult of Ron Paul works, the lemmings in the cult will follow Ron Paul over a cliff no matter how outrageous his statements may be.

The Oracle Ron Paul sends his decrees from the temple on high and the Paultards will imprint it on their brain, tattoo it on their foreheads, and etch it in stone as the wisdom from their infallible leader.

The fact of the matter is, that most Americans by far support relief for their fellow Americans who are victims of natural disasters. Ron Paul was the ONLY one of 435 members of Congress who voted against Katrina disaster relief. This is not a popular view by any stretch of the imagination, and you will never convince the convince Americans to turn their backs on the fellow Americans in time of disaster.

The good thing is, we won't have to listen to the delusions of Ron Paul supporters much longer. Because he's giving up his seat in Congress after 30 years there, and even he is smart enough to know he won't be running for President in his 80's.

The bad news is, the Paulites are apparently strong believers in the quaint concept known as "the Divine Right of Pauls". And it will be the oracle Rand Paul will send his decrees from on high to be tattooed on the Paulites foreheads. And the oracle Rand Paul will suddenly become the ONLY hope for America and the ONLY one in this country of 300 million people that should be President. It's pathetic and a joke, you guys have marginalized yourselves from Americas political system by plunging headlong into this cult of Pauls.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12052857

Trust me, I dont want any part of this political system. It should be destroyed and started over.

Its pretty simple...something apprently morons like you dont understand.

the federal reserve needs to be abolished, we will never get this country back unless this ONE thing happens. The only person even talking about this issue or understands this issue is Paul, which is why he is the only one to be fit to be prez.

Either all the other candidates dont know about the fed reserve (if they dont then they arent qualified to be prez) or they are purposely not talking about the fed reserve. (which means they should be disqualified in the eyes of everyone else).

Its one of these 2 things, cant be any other. So sorry if I throw my support towards the only man with the willingless or balls to stand up to that economic terrorist organization.

Well, unless you are a Congressman from Texas and a hurricane comes through. Ron Paul says he opposes federal disaster relief for the tornado victims, but on the other hand, his office shepherded hundreds of FEMA claims for hurricane damage in his district in Texas, ensured the reconstruction of the county's seawall, and won federal funding for an extensive beach nourishment project. Beach nourishment? Nice pork.

Between 1999 and 2009, federal spending in Galveston County quadrupled to more than $4 billion. In 2009, the county received $14,707 per resident, topping average per capita federal spending in 46 of the 50 states. Paul earmarked some $60 million for projects in and around the city that year.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11830516

Yeah, thats some pretty gnarly shit. Imagine that wirey white fellow in your district that you voted for 12 times and kept getting re-elected because he kept returning your hard earned tax dollars back to your own district instead of letting congress appropriate it scientists that wanted to use that money to measure the flatulence release from cows in Iowa to determine what affect they had on global warming.

It's no wonder why this planet is on fire! dead3

Isn't it wonderful how our governement works.
 Quoting: Joe Boxer

Yep, and what's good for disaster stricken people in Galveston Oc. Texas (our tax dollars used for Federal relief) is not good for the disaster stricken people in the midwest.

So is Ron Paul in favor of Federal disaster relief or not? He certainly pumped millions of dollars of earmarks into his home district, and of course we will all know everything we ever wanted to know about about beach nourishment.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11830516

Every single decision that Ron Paul make is 100% Constitutional. Thats it.

Lastly a short comment on Earmarks. He hates em, thinks they suck. Unconstitutional and all that crap. However, since Earmarks are here he has to deal with them. He has 2 options. 1. he can vote to send the Earmarks $ back to his district and let the people make good use of it. -or- 2. Nothing and let the Earmarks go back to congress so they can do what they want with it.

Paul would much rather see the People get the money (after all it's theirs) rather than give it back to Congress to spend on more worthless shit.
 Quoting: Joe Boxer

OK, so let me see if I can follow your logic from the above.

1. Every decision Ron Paul makes is constitutional.

2. Earmarks are unconstitutional. (Would appreciate your legal reference citing their unconstitutionality. Not that I support them, but I hadn't previously known that they were unconstitutional. You being a constitutional scholar of far greater intellect than myself, I'll defer that research to you.)

3. Ron Paul votes for earmarks directed to his district.

So if earmarks are unconstitutional and Ron Paul votes for them, then at least some of his decisions are unconstitutional, right?

And then:

1. Ron Paul (or any other congressman) can (1) vote the send the earmarks to his or her district, or (2) let the earmarks go back to Congress so they can do what they want with it. But of course Congress is composed of congressmen, so that's sort of circular, but the logic supports earmark spending.

he owns santorum, flat out. never got into it much with Romney, but if you think romney won any debate then I would give up on following politics. Romney says so much in words and says so little in meaning its freaking ridiculous. the man NEVER gives any detailed answers to questions asked of him. Atleast I learn stuff when paul speaks.

the only other guy that won debates is gingrich and he actually does give some detailed answers as well sometimes.

Im talkin debates when there were only 4-6 candidates left, the rest dont count for paul because what can you do with only a minute 30 of airtime in a 90 minute debate.

Re: Ron Paul's master plan is to lose every state and collect the most delegates
On the earmark issue, of course Ron Paul was one of the most prolific earmarkers in Congress for many of his years, a self-proclaimed fiscal conservative who brings home the bacon by the truckload.

On the other hand, no fan of hers, but Michelle Bachmann remained true to her fiscal conservative principals, and did not submit any earmarks for her district. Also, back in 2008, candidate John McCain could show consistency in his position, because he did not issue earmarks for Arizona.

Fact of the matter is, Ron Paul is a rank hypocrite on the issue, and the Paultards will twist themselves into a pretzel trying to justify their oracle's hypocritical pork barrel spending.

Another issue where Paultards end up twisting themselves into a pretzel over is the issue of the racist newsletters that came under the byline Ron Paul in the 'Ron Paul Report'. In this multiracial country, doesn't matter who the politician is, whether you're perceived as an oracle or not, makes you simply unelectable, no way, no how. But go ahead Paultards, twist away trying to justify that one too, you end up looking quite silly in justifying your oracles gaffes.

That is something he would say and it's correct. Why should tax payers bail out people that live in hurricane zones and don't buy proper insurance. It's sounds heartless after a disaster, but should tax dollars cover people that don't have car or life insurance.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3021517

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul said victims of the tornado-torn Midwest and South should not expect aid or assistance from the federal government.

“The people who live in ‘Tornado Alley,’ just as I live in ‘Hurricane Alley,’ they should have insurance,” Mr. Paul said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “There is no such thing as federal money. Federal money is just what they steal from the states and steal from you and me,” he said.

For reference, here is a link from business insurance.com, an insurance industry site, and of course they just love Ron Paul's stand on insurance:

Pretty fucking simple: don't tax the whole country for the repairs of your state. Every state has different concerns, and it's not fair in any way that people in a low-risk area have to rebuild homes they could only dream of affording. And let's see, there's always the option of being responsible and purchasing insurance to protect your home.

What argument are you trying to make, exactly? That he should have let his district's money get send to the executive branch?

Just as Paul told his gathered supporters that "momentum is building," Fox News demonstrated just the opposite, switching away from his speech to return to punditry. It was the first time the conservative network had cut Paul off.

Fox News' Shep Smith, looking directly into the camera and seemingly searching out Paul backers, tried to put it on the level. Ron Paul, he said, is not going to win, acknowledging that his assertion would surely infuriate Paul's passionate backers: "Facts are troublesome things from time to time," he said.

While Paul battled for Alaska and North Dakota, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum slugged it out county by county for the bellwether state of Ohio. Meanwhile, Paul struggled to win slightly more than 10 percent of the vote in exit polls --a threshold where he's been stuck for years.

That is something he would say and it's correct. Why should tax payers bail out people that live in hurricane zones and don't buy proper insurance. It's sounds heartless after a disaster, but should tax dollars cover people that don't have car or life insurance.

And this somehow doesn't work for you?
Pretty fucking simple: don't tax the whole country for the repairs of your state.

What argument are you trying to make, exactly? That he should have let his district's money get send to the executive branch?

1> Don't tax the whole country for the repairs of your state? That's exactly what Ron Paul did after Katrina. You can't have it both ways.

2. Earmark money does NOT get sent back to the executive branch if it is not spent. It goes back to the Treasury general fund.

Paul wins Big on Super Tuesday well on his way to win the nomination. Mitt, Newt and Rick all need to drop out now so Paul can concentrate on taking down Obama.

Of course Ron Paul is a hypocrite on the earmark issue. In FY 2009, following Karina, he ranked 13 out of 435 Congressmen in the amount of earmark money spent. That's right, Ron Paul was in the top 3% of pork barrel spenders.

Some of his pork went right to the programs that he now says he wants to abolish. For example, in FY 08 - FY09:

Housing and Community Services, New Braunfels, TX

Victoria Chamber of Commerce, Victoria, TX for the Sure BET program to reduce drop-out rates

Memorial Hermann Healthcare System Life Flight

Golden Crescent Bus Replacement in and around Victoria, TX

Bay Area Houston Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP)

Brazosport College, Lake Jackson, TX for curriculum development

Wharton County Jr. College, Wharton, TX for curriculum development to train students for work in the nuclear power industry

Emergency Operations Center, Brazoria County Emergency Management, TX

University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Galveston, TX for nursing programs

after he said that the peoples whose houses got jacked up in the tornado should've had insurance and aren't entitled to federal FEMA $$, he lost me as a supporter. How sad... Paulie-tards, go home!

The Government and FEMA is the reason why insurance premiums are so high, just like with the health ins. GET THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR AND SEE HOE WELL THIS COUNTRY BE! FEMA is a JOKE!

Why all the bitch'n Paul has this thing sewed up! Only a military coup d'état by Obama using foreign troops could possible keep Paul from being the next President!
