Greek 1yr Bond Yield 1,114%-Looks Like The Euro-phoria is OVER!
It appears as if the hopium being jabbed into the European neck has all but vanished. The Greek one year bond yield was 1006% less than 24 hours ago and has risen over 100 points upward. The Greek bonds have also been suspended indefinitely from trading on the Milan Borse index. All of this indicates that Greece is on borrowed time. I know, I know. Bout EFIIN Time!!!!

What crazy crap!

Have yields ever been this high with other countries before?

I remember Mexico some 20 odd years ago but don't remember what they were then.

I disagree. As Greece goes the other PIGGS will follow. You can quote me on that. On top of that you complete financial void, the world banks are so interdependent, the domino effect will crush us all. Just because you live down under doesn't mean you have to think down-under. Due diligence is necessary before making uber-rediculous statements like the afrementioned

they don't must pay that interest, it is hypothetical greece bonds may trade at 26%, if they pay them back you get 100%, but you can buy them now @26% (e.g.).

But they want to do this PSI (Private Sector Involvent) and this Debt swap, so that you get new bonds.

So now greece don't borrow money at the financial market, so they don't pay that yield, the get the money from others EUropean countrys for less %, I think about 4$ or so.
