On Monday, eight letters were discovered at schools in North Texas, an Alabama bank, a New York art gallery, a Connecticut school, and a Texas Instruments facility in Dallas.

So far, 15 envelopes in all have arrived in eight states.

An Elementary school in Hartford, Conneticut got a white envelope... but this article goes on to say that back in FEBRUARY there were even more envelopes being sent out from OREGON (not Dallas as the current ones are).

On Feb. 23, U.S. Sen. Joseph Lieberman's office in Hartford received an envelope containing white powder. Authorities said a number of state offices of U.S. lawmakers, as well as media organizations and offices for TV shows, had received similar letters, all postmarked from Oregon.

Suspicious white powder mailed to two Plano elementaries, four other locations (Updated)

An envelope containing a suspicious white powder has been discovered at a Murphy elementary school and is being investigated by the FBI.

The incident is the sixth of its kind to have occurred in North Texas during the last two days. The latest incident occurred at Boggess Elementary, a Plano ISD school located in Murphy.

POWDER PUFF -- Mysterious powder found its way to multiple congressional officers yesterday for the second time this week. They came from Portland -- at least according to the return address. The Associated Press reports: “The letters bore a return address from ‘The MIB’ and were postmarked Portland, Ore. The Portland return address on the letters appears to be phony. The combination of the address given -- 2413 NW Burnside, ZIP code 97209 -- does not exist. … The letters tell the recipients that there is a ‘10 percent chance you have just been exposed to a lethal pathogen.’ Even though none of the letters that have been tested have contained harmful substances, Gainer told staff to be extra vigilant. … The sender wants an ‘end to corporate money and `lobbying,’’ an end to corporate ‘personhood’ and a new constitutional convention. BOSTON (AP) - Suspicious powder in the mail at the Suffolk District Attorney's Office in Boston led to a partial building evacuation.

They said the people in Md. had A-Type Influenza with possible a staph link...Did any of these people work in a school (Not the 81 yr old woman)there was 3 others I think in their 50's....Nothing said of Powder in this case....

No Powder mentioned, but I am keeping my eyes open on both since the timing is so strange. FYI -- the first batch of white powder envelopes hit the news within a few days of when influenza-A patient zero (Ms. Blake) got sick.

I thought I heard yesterday that a white powder sent to dallas city hall turned out to be cocaine. I remember thinking what the!?! Did anyone else hear that? Although of course, this sounds much more ominous, tandym.

Apparently there have been FOUR sent to Alaska, not just one -- subject line updated to reflect three more envelopes.
