Not going to flag you but it would be better for the thread if you produce a recording. Have you recorded the noises? Do you know anyone in your area that might have recorded the incident? Is there a railroad anywhere within half a mile? Could have just been trains hooking up. They are noisy when they get it on.  Sorry, couldn't resist. I used to work about 300 yards from a rail yard and the trains sounded like thunder when they linked up, and it cascaded down the whole train. BOOOOOOOM, BOoooom, booom, boom, etc. |
