The first bone!
Nice

"The finding provides insight into the evolution of life – particularly, early life – on the planet, why animals go extinct, and how organisms respond to environmental changes. The discovery also can help scientists recognize life elsewhere in the universe"
"The researchers note that Coronacollina acula lived on the seafloor. Shaped like a thimble to which at least four 20-40-centimeter-long needle-like "spicules" were attached, Coronacollina acula most likely held itself up by the spicules. The researchers believe it ingested food in the same manner a sponge does, and that it was incapable of locomotion. How it reproduced remains a mystery.
Coronacollina acula is so named because it translates as "little rimmed hill with needles" (corona – rim or crown; collis – hill; acula – needle). The name describes the fossil organism's morphology, and, specifically, its two components: the truncated cone-shaped body, which appears in the fossils as a pit, and the long brittle spicules, which appear in the fossils as thin grooves."

MyHypothesis: With reproductivity unknown - I speculate that these creatures would reproduce by secreting one of its tenticle bones and helping it grow into another one of these creatures.

Scientific ramifcations should my theory prove correct: Proof that the Chicken came before the egg.

Biblical ramifications of above theory: Adam's Rib explained...

Sorry Lilith. you must have been just another sponge.

Re: The first bone!
hi

I made a thread about something similar.

Thread: What did God do with Adam's penis bone?
Random thought I had just now. Seems others have thunk it in the past.

Hebrew translation error leads scholars to say Eve created from penis bone, not rib

Another genetic condition, extending to 100 percent of human males, is the congenital lack of a baculum. Whereas most mammals (including common species such as dogs and mice) and most other primates (excepting spider monkeys) have a penile bone, human males lack this bone and must rely on fluid hydraulics to maintain erections. This is not an insignificant bone.

Baculum
The baculum (also penis bone, penile bone or os penis) is a bone found in the penis of many placental mammals. It is absent in the human penis, but present in the penises of other primates, such as the gorilla and chimpanzee

Genesis 2:22
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

Awesome yea I read about this research in Biblical Archeology Review. Very compelling semantics!!! hf

Funny part is that the article I read was only published a few months ago.

One corroborating proof I would offer is the way that biblical anatomy has a way of being correct going back to Genesis where the Serpent lost its legs and the biological evidence of course is that serpents have areas that may have once been appendages much like people have little tails reminiscent of some past biological progrom.

Snake=serpent=penis? Often referred to as the '3rd leg'...

What I found most telling regarding, was the belief that people carry that males have one less rib than females. This is untrue and should be more well known to combat said myth.

don't males have 1 less rib bones than females
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64689982

No. A common misconception. One I was just looking up...

Whereas a man’s skeleton, just like a woman’s, has a complete set of twelve pairs of ribs, the penis bone is really lacking
[link to www.psychologytoday.com (secure)]

Males and females both have 12 pairs of ribs.

If you go a bit deeper, you will see how the absence of the Human male 'baculum' is echoed in the, Myth of Osiris.

And if you see that, you'll see how it plays into everything else...
