I'm a Christian myself and found those paintings very disturbing. They make it seem like if you're not perfect-you go to hell, but then why do we need Jesus? I thought He SAVED us. With HIS righteousness and holiness.

You got it right...onlyJesus was and is perfect, there is nothing you can physically do or say that could be good enough to get you to heaven. You should still tell others of Gods great free gift of eternal life through His Son Jesus, read your Bible, try to find a good chrch to attend. JESUS PAID FOR OUR SINS ON THE CROSS. IF YOU BELIEVE
THAT YOU WILL BE SAVED

Hell is a terrible place and it's very simple cut and dry on who is going to heaven and who goes to hell. If you believe in Jesus(death burial resurection)you wil go to heaven. All who dn't believe are headed to hell...very simple, all have a free choice.

And why would you believe in this kind of evil? Why would you even want to share a realm with the same being who condemns others to this kind of torment?

I have problems with your statement "If you believe in Jesus(death burial resurection)you will go to heaven." While true in a general sense, that comes across as the believer having no other responsibility, which is not true. Just saying you might consider rewording it.

James 2:19 is clear that "even the demons believe" and shudder.

There is nothing to add to simply bwleving...the devil beliwve because he know for the fact that God is real..he's seen Him,that hy he shudders, he knows he's doomed in time, thing can change that, the devils belief is diferent that ours of faith, while the devils is real, he xan't wok his way out o0f hell, and you or I can't work our way into heaven, or be ad enough to goto hell it will be bsed on our bwlief only in Jesus.
