Why are Atheists so hateful, bitter, angry, and intolerant?

Only in death will one know. But it is not about death, It surprised me to find only in the events of my death was pain. Not physical pain but a yearning to survive love live experience. The yearning made me think about the totality of my life, and cause a pain so great it caused direction change.

The events changed me, changed me as a individual person and also on a level of understanding of what we as humans are capable of.



Then bang several days later i woke with a half a dozen chest tubes. then the pain physical pain, that is when i knew i was alive.

I always thought that it was the Non-Catholics

I used to go to an atheist forum and they were very dark and depressing, It felt like falling into a black hole. No matter what light I tried to shed in there, they would mock and reject it and twist it. It seemed like most of them were very depressed and despairing and it made me wonder what caused them to get to that state and not even recognize that they were in that state. I wondered if people who have a propensity toward depression end up becoming athiest, or if atheism causes the depression.

Then I would also frequent a Christian forum and all I would do is quote scriptures to them and they would get mad at me for pointing out scriptures that they had glossed over. They were just as rejecting as the atheists. All you have to do is point out the scripture “ye are gods” in Psalm 82:6 and John 10:34 and they get super mad and will accuse you by saying you are twisting scriptures and call you a satanist even though you are quoting straight from the bible. So if you really want to make a Christian mad, just quote that one. So I really think that a lot of Christians are very fear based and could fall under the same description.

I really don't think that true "atheism" exists. I think most "atheists" would be better described as "agnostic." I think a lot of so called atheists have doubts about their atheism and would not qualify as a true atheist. There are some people who are not Christian who are better Christians than some Christians are. And there are some really good people from both groups.

But I think it is really silly to make generalizations about groups of people, there are good and bad in every bunch.

I can't wait until the illumination of souls when we will see everything for what it truly is and why people are the way they are. We don't know what life circumstances brought them to where they are.

All religions are a cancer.

This includes Atheism, Christianity, Catholicism, Islam, and all the rest.

Why are Atheists so hateful, bitter, angry, and intolerant?Because most of them are gay and dont seem to fit into the fun things in life.

They learn all of those from the religious peoples.
I don't see any atheist trying to push atheism on me, but i see daily so called "religious" peoples who push me their believes.

The devil is tormenting them with hatred.

Maybe try not just throwing everything and anything in one pot, isn't that intolerant in itself, bitter and maybe even angry?

Seek and find your own TRUTH! Stop having Expectations and Stop labelling the labeled with even more labels... :)

Atheists aren't the ones wishing an eternity of torture and hellfire on people.

Ever heard the saying "not all who wander are lost"? I've experienced and whitnessed more bias within religion. I prefer to remain religoff.

on how to deal with religious grandparents. on one hand you want your child to spend time with their grandparents, but you also dont want them filling theirs minds with garbage fairy tales about hell and brimstone and imaginary things in the sky. kids are so impressionable!

The world would be better, if everyone minded their own business, and didn't try FORCING their version of reality on everyone with a different view.
