All the more reason that the 7 billion is probably manufactured bullshit by the depopulation freaks.

About three years ago, one GLPer calculated the land mass of Australia and divided the world population into it. The ENTIRE global population can fit into Oz with about 1/4 acre per person. Also, a couple of hours spent traveling aroun in Google earth will educate anyone on what liars the over population Malthusians are. The truth is, we don't take up much room at all.

With these number growin earth's resources will be burned up very soon. Human is the only race who wasted natural resources. Other species just use it for their survivals!

If, and that's a big IF we're at 7 billion, population needs to be reduced in places like India and China. That's ridiculous, especially India considering their sq mileage of area compared to the U.S. and China.

China: 19.25% of the World's population.
India: 17.29% of the World's population.

Coming in third, the U.S. with 4.47%

Look at nearly all of the nations population and demographics. Most of the nations, the super power ones - are in a state of mid-late aged crowd. Japan and America are both good examples.

While Gates does advocate population control, a lot of people use this video to start frothing about the statement that 'with vaccines and health care' they can lower the population, thinking that he accidentally admitted some plan to use those to kill people.

What he's actually referring to, is the phenomenon in third world countries where people tend to have as many children as possible to compensate for the high infant and child mortality rate. In many 3rd world families, losing a child = losing a laborer. So if you only have one kid, the chance that one kid could die is a big risk to what little financial stability you have. So they pump out several.

What Gates means by those statements, is that improving the infant/child mortality rates and the quality of life overall in those countries will remove the necessity to breed like rabbits.

Well..yeah you did actually. That site doesn't say they are about to hit 7 billion, you added that on to their page header that indicated the two clocks below were to calculate the population of the U.S. and a separate one for the whole world.
