Phennommennonn (OP) Forum Administrator 03/10/2012 06:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The last Pope to resign was Pope Gregory XII (1406–1415), who did so to end the Western Schism, which had reached the point where there were three claimants to the papal throne, Roman Pope Gregory XII, Avignon Antipope Benedict XIII, and Pisan Antipope John XXIII. Before resigning he formally convened the already existing Council of Constance and authorized it to elect his successor. Maybe letters/sentiments of encouragement? I hear retirement is good at 85 yrs old these days, especially when you have untold wealth at hand. |

Truth-Seeker User ID: 12278579 United States 03/10/2012 09:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The FIRST thing I did when I heard this story was to attempt to track down the daily Italian newspaper [as listed in the source document] via my reference that links directly to over 12,000 newspapers worldwide. I did NOT find any newspaper called "LXXXXXX" among the 50-60 listed for Italy. It's important to note that newspapers that are published DAILY are usually very large operations and these are the ones that are highlighted on the list, which also includes weeklies. Further, the list also includes all those newspapers with online editions. So, my conclusion is this: IF there is such a newspaper, it's certainly not a "daily" as claimed in the source article. It's possible that there is a small tabloid that could've run this story... but that puts the entire topic into a whole new light. |
pope clowns the sheeple User ID: 1572549 Estonia 03/11/2012 07:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | will he step down? i dont know. what i do know is that every easter, whoever the kid luving pope is CLOWNS EACH AND EVERY XTIAN by greeting the rising sun in the east as the crowd thinks they address him. most people dont know that st peters square in the vatican is a huge fukkin sundial, with the SUN/SON rising due east on the equinox, and other markers laying out shadows for the longest and shortest days of the year the obilisk in the center is from heliopolis, which is the city of the sun in egypt, who worshipped the sun, and any obilisk represents a solidified sun ray. SUN worship, y'all - go POPE , clown your sheeple yet again before you lead them to slaughter and then bang a few kids |

The end." AND Malachy said this: "In the extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop]. Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations: and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the terrible judge will judge his people. The End." [link to en.wikipedia.org] |
