the one thing I've noticed about most of these "So-Called CXristians" is that they LOVE Conflict............

sure i know what you mean. she was given the breaks and made famous for a reason. there are people with 100 times the talent she has but they dont have the same "assets". that is why she is a money maker for these people. with the invention of autotune they dont even need talent anymore.

just look at groups like LMFAO. i almost see them as a bet. somewhere there were 2 guys hanging out stoned and one said i bet we can make millions with a good beat. we dont even need to be good looking or talented. just a PC and autotune. we can throw in some humor for good measure and make the right connections. show someone who controls the media that we can make them money and we have the will to be used. next thing you know they are on the superbowl halftime show after about a year of being popular. they are also related to music producer barry gordy.

these people know that the sheep will buy whatever they tell them is good and cool. imagine having that power over the country or world. that is some serious power.

I agree with this. Katy Perry just wants to play dress up and make cool videos, it is the directors and producers and writers who are mostly responsible. Why not find out who they are and research their backgrounds?

aww come on. man i love good debate but this is finger pointing. of course the things are different. the world changes. not sure how old you are but i remember in the 80's people threw a fit over spuds mckenzie (budweiser dog). he was going on tshirts and anything you can imagine. teens were promoting it all over the place. i was a drinker then and thought people were crazy. it is just a dog. but it was more. it represented something much bigger to us.

it just so happens that the moral compass of the country is a little farther south than it was in the 80's. these small steps have become much larger. i started seeing it in the 90's when mtv was promoting spring break tv shows. i went to spring break. i know what they were selling. i still was not a sold out follower of Christ so i still participated in this stuff. but i was smart enough to see how people like mtv execs made their money. it was off of promoting degredation and sytematically shocking and lowering the standards of the american public.

over the years they continually try to do this. every once in a while they over step and retract (the skins tv show that was ripped off the air because it went a little too far.. in america... very popular in UK).

even if youre not a christian you still be disgusted that you are being used as cattle for the media execs. that doesnt take faith. just a little common sense.

When I first heard LMFAO it was via my Pandora while at work. I skip songs all the time, because I personally do not like the sound.. not because somebody told me it was not cool. LOL When a couple different LMFAO songs came on I thumbed them up.. not because anyone else told me they were cool.. because I dug the sound, the beat, the lyrics and the energy of the music. Come to find out a few months later, they are pretty popular. My liking them had absolutely nothing to do with another persons influence.. at all.

yes He is the same. if you want to know why He is seems so different from the OT to the NT the answer is He is not. He is always the same. but you have to know that He created humanity with rules. rules for us and for His involvement with us. creation was meant to be perfect. it was our sin that fractured it and cut us off from God. there was a period where priests had to go to God for us. and do so through a series of legalistic sacrifice. well then Jesus came and put himself in the place of that sacrifice. He was pure and perfect and due to His sacrifice we now have a direct connection to God. we still have to seek it but it is open to all.

that was the ultimate message of love. it wasnt that God was harsh in the OT it is just that matters on earth were fractured and He dealt with as He could. and please remember God doesnt view life here as we do. He knows there is more and perfect life waiting for us. imagine having a new born baby. the first thing they know and feel is their safety is the warm crib in the nursery at the hospital. that is what they view as life. but as parents we know better. we cant wait to get them home and love them and take care of them. that is how God sees us on this earth.

I read the words to this video. Basically, in my opinion, this is about giving up your free will to an entity. You are not even sure if this entity is the devil...you dont even care what that entity plans to do to you..fill her with poison, different dna, ready for abduction, giving your soul away to an alien race...not even knowing who they represent.

West is absolutely evil...something you can expect from him...no big surprise.

It is really sad that our young people watch things like this and idolize people like this...we have quite a fight on our hands.
