I watched that 4 times and still don't understand what you're talking about.

Are you referring to the tiny light dot that appears on the house at roughly the 6:14 mark, or the larger white blur that occurs at the 6:20 mark?

The video shows the tornado as it took out homes in West Liberty. It was captured on a surveillance system that never turned off, and it recorded the entire disaster as it happened.

"Well, I don't know what it's like, but I would compare it to hell," said Randy Risner.

Randy Risner's surveillance system consisting of seven cameras caught the tornadoes fury from several different angles.

"It didn't sound like a train, it sounded like thunder, and it kept getting louder and louder," Risner said.

He and his wife, Norma, took cover in their basement.

"You could actually feel the ground shaking and our the 11-foot basement walls were shaking, too," Norma said.

"I didn't know if we were going to have a house standing, when we came out or not," Randy said.

Damaged, their house stood strong. But the tornado destroyed their workshop (caught on camera) and another camera shows the roof of their neighbors home peel off like a sardine can.

"If I hadn't seen him walk out of the house, no one could have told me, he lived through that," said Randy.

His son Kyle's home, which neighbor's his, also took a hit, and can be seen from the video.

Well, you haven't answered my question about *what* it is that YOU think is strange.

The little white glowy dot that appears at about 6:14, I have no idea what it is, but the larger white blur that almost obscures the house at 6:20 is very obviously water on the camera lens.

So yeah, I have no idea what the little white dot is, but I don't find it any more strange than people who claim they see newscasters eyes turning into reptile slits in fuzzy, artifact filled, low res video.

Show me an anomaly on a high res, clear video shot, and I'll be glad to be amazed. But video anomalies go hand in hand with crappy, low res videostreams.

This may be an entirely new weather phenomenon.

The twister left normally tranquil West Liberty looking like "a war zone," Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear told reporters Sunday.

I saw an electric line spark a few times... as for the "plasma orb" it was a drop of water on the camera lens that landed on the lens and then blew off...

I would want to find out if someone died in that house at around minute 6. Most times the soul is taken out of the body before it feels pain. That would be my first question.

perhaps tornadoes are just aliens, or spirits, fucking with us all, like teenagers nicking a car and going on a destructive spree?

i can't believe you ACTUALLY red bolded that last bit.

It's amazing the cameras never lost power during this; and the trees being pushed and pulled back and forth seemed odd; did the trees ever get blown down? I couldn't tell-seems to me they would have been broken and uprooted very quickly. The white spot does seem to be water on the lens of the camera being pushed around and flattened by the wind. Be interesting to hear what the weather people think it was.
