I woke up today and My computer had changed itself to the new jerulasem calendar.

Many years ago, when my daughter was making her First Holy Communion, one of her friends was given a speaking part for the ceremony. This little girl bragged for weeks that SHE was given a part, and my daughter did not. She taunted my daughter, and I witnessed it but never said anything.

On the Sunday of the communion, her family forgot to set their clocks ahead, and this girl missed her communion day.

I had to smile. Karma.

Thanks, OP. I DID forget. But I only had yard work planned for today and it's cold and nasty outside so I guess today's as good a day as any to stay in and just do nothing for once.

I still have a couple of church services that haven't started yet online so I'll do that and GLP today.

This sucks. Only one happy about losing an hour is my cat because that means her dinner will be an hour earlier.

This time change I dislike more than in the fall. I HATE losing that hour of sleep. Feel especially bad for my hubby though. He works from about 3thirty am-about 3pm every Sunday, so this morning he had to set his alarm for 1:59am, so when it hit 2:00, it actually changed to 3:00am.

Fall is nice - an extra hour, although my kids don't seem to get the message that they can sleep an extra hour, haha. They'll be up at 6am, thinking it's 7 =)

For some reason we don't change our clocks here in the UK until next week, or is it the week after??

Yes, I did, but a couple came into church when it was letting out. LOL! they were so embaressed!

We know of a couple (both retirees) living up the street from us that the wife got her husband up Saturday morning and told him that they had slept in (because of the 'change in the clocks') and their ride to church was arriving any minute! The husband jumped up out of bed and rushed to get ready and was standing at the door before he realized it was Saturday and NOT Sunday.

He was so upset with his wife that the last we heard, he didn't go to church today.

I did set them forward, but Diebold set them back!
