Its a biggee, can anyone tell me if this is a fast arriving hit from the cme that just happened or is it the previous one??
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12257407

Solar Ham guy says it's either the CME that was supposed to arrive this evening or it's something else altogether, and he's investigating.

Can I just say that last night I saw a flame red object cross the roof of my house at a moderate speed before vanishing into the eastern horizon. This object was massive 3x the six of a passenger jet and moved in silence. It was NOT a japanese candle or whatever they are called it moved with considerable thrust and in silence. it made the hair stand up on my head. I tried to film it on my camera but all i caught with the blasted complex settings on my camera was a distant speck in motion. This is the first time in my life I have seen anything unexplainable and now with these solar shenanigans I am beginning to think something is awry.

Space Weather Message Code: WATA50
Serial Number: 46
Issue Time: 2012 Mar 12 0227 UTC

WATCH: Geomagnetic A-index of 50 or greater predicted
NOAA Scale: Periods reaching the G3 (Strong) Level Likely
Valid for UTC Day: 2012 Mar 13

Potential Impacts: Area of impact primarily poleward of 50 degrees Geomagnetic Latitude.

Induced Currents - Power system voltage irregularities possible, false alarms may be triggered on some protection devices.

Spacecraft - Systems may experience surface charging; increased drag on low Earth-orbit satellites and orientation problems may occur.

Navigation - Intermittent satellite navigation (GPS) problems, including loss-of-lock and increased range error may occur.

Radio - HF (high frequency) radio may be intermittent.

Aurora - Aurora may be seen as low as Pennsylvania to Iowa to Oregon.

spaceweather.com says "The CME's impact caused strong ground currents in Norway."

What does that mean? What is a ground current when talking about CME?

Anyone care to explain how your seeing the sideways view? the pictures must be beaming somewhere from between mars and earth or venus and earth by the size of the earth.its a .......drum roll please.......... simulation....which of coarse will be manipulated to wag the dog......later,got waders on for all the rest of the bs on this website, lol.
How unfortunate for some rulers when men, women, and children continue to think... Keep repeating the lies loud enough and long enough and just maybe the people will start to believe the lies again and good luck with that...finding your energy open until mars becomes raging aries...

Re: - magnetosphere watch - (0)
I found this to be an interesting statement on Solar Ham

Incoming Shock Detected / G2 Geomagnetic Storm
ACE detected an incoming shock this morning after 08:00 UTC. The Solar Wind jumped to near 600 km/s and a Geomagnetic Sudden Impulse measuring 96 nT was detected. A G2 Geomagnetic Storm (KP=6) is now in progress. Initially a CME impact was predicted for late tonight. The expanding cloud could have arrived much earlier than expected, or this shock may be unrelated. More information to follow.
