I had to call the police a couple weeks ago to make a report also. I called the non emergency number though. I had a tv, laptop and my sons dsi stolen. The guy came to take the report and was really rudeand condescending to me. Then checked me for warrants, background, and went thru my entire pawn history looking for what I said was stolen.

He treated ME like the criminal, even though Im standing there with both my little boys telling him someone broke in and took the stuff. It was horrible how I was treated. Only AFTER he did a complete check on me and my history did he be alittler nicer.

But even then he got an attitude and as he was leaving said "werent you the one who called the station a few weeks ago saying a sheriff was tail gating you?" and I said "yeah why? he was so close on my bumper i could barely see his hood and he would have hit me if I slowed down. He was too close and there was no reason for him to do that". (the police in my area are horrible, speed, never use signal to switch lanes, will turn on the lights to pass traffic and a light just to get to a freaking gas station for food-which i only know since i was heading to the same gas station.. and break every other rule yet arrest or ticket us for doing the same).. and then the cop says "yeah well when you do things like that, we all hear about it and remember names.. just to let you know"

I mean really?? I was so pissed.. so yeah.. doubt ill call again unless someones bleeding or dying .. smfh

What's your badge number? You talk like you have the mentality and intelligence (or lack thereof as the case may be) of a cop...

When I was living in NY in 2008 my neighbor as a cop. He was the spokesperson for the County Sheriff Dept. Before he moved he told me that the police were being trained to act first think later. He told me that they were all being trained for civil unrest and if they didn't act quick on any situation than they could lose control to a mob. They are taught to step at you and if you react in an agressive posture they are to crack your head open.

This all started a year before 9/11 he told me. He quit the job and moved to Virginia were most of his family lives.

Just because you have a brown nose relationship with the police in your area doesn't mean all cops around the country are acting appropriately. The country is large and you are but a speck in it. I usually just skip right over your rants that waste pages of posts but today I felt like saying something.

Wise is he who can learn from their mistakes, and wiser still is he learns the lesson from others mistakes.


When I suffer from a mistake I consider the damage and the long term effect and hopefully can pronounce the lesson was cheap at the price.

I don't brown nose but I don't yell at them and treat them like shit either. Every video that I've seen here showing "police brutality" the "victim" was acting stupid and usually aggressive. Maybe instead of all the insults you could try just speaking with people like they are human beings instead of dirt, you may be surprised how they treat you in return.

Thier attitudes have changed. It used to be that they asessed a situation first and then act on that situation. Now they just crack skulls and sort it out after. I personally walk invisible through life and never have contact with them but from what I've seen them do in this small town where I live now I don't see them as human. They are trained hitmen now. They were given triggers and they don't even think to act

And yes you really do have to deal with your own issues. Hell the courts have already said it is not the job of police to protect anyone. So whatever their job is, is pretty much up in the air, tbfh they are making it up as they go.

For that video posted above, it is misleading and seriously outdated. First of all, whenever the police ask you anything whether victim or perpetrator, you are under custodial investigation.

Secondly, the police do not have to offer the Miranda warning to you. That's correct, Miranda Act is just to provide a warning of your rights, it doesn't grant you any special rights. With that you have to verbally request to be read the Miranda warning. So I highly recommend your request be the only thing you ever say to the shitheads and the exercise your fifth and STFU!
