When I was living in NY in 2008 my neighbor as a cop. He was the spokesperson for the County Sheriff Dept. Before he moved he told me that the police were being trained to act first think later. He told me that they were all being trained for civil unrest and if they didn't act quick on any situation than they could lose control to a mob. They are taught to step at you and if you react in an agressive posture they are to crack your head open.

This all started a year before 9/11 he told me. He quit the job and moved to Virginia were most of his family lives.

Just because you have a brown nose relationship with the police in your area doesn't mean all cops around the country are acting appropriately. The country is large and you are but a speck in it. I usually just skip right over your rants that waste pages of posts but today I felt like saying something.
