Act 10:16 This was said three times, and immediately the sail was drawn up out of sight.
Peter did not eat, he pondered what it meant and later Peter found out what it meant:
Acts 10:(27-29) Entering Cornelius’ house, Peter explains why he came. "And as he talked with him, he went in and found many who had come together. Then he said to them, “You know how unlawful it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go to one of another nation. But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean. Therefore I came without objection as soon as I was sent for. I ask, then, for what reason have you sent for me?” So Peter understood that the vision was about people as jewish people thought the gentiles were unclean and they should not mingle with them. Now about food there is healthy food and unhealthy food and in the Bible we read that the people eating healthy food looked better and had more wisdom than those eating the "kings food". Any doctor would confirm the same.
