How can you wake up whenever you are truly dead inside?

How can you wake up someone that is clinging to the fake reality like a security blanket out of fear of the unknown, mainly freedom.

Why do people keep telling others to wake up, whenever the ones awake have found themselves in a nightmare
Because once you know the truth, no matter how painful it may be, if you have any love in your heart at all, you must try to free the enslaved, you must fight for freedom for the future generations.
