I googled it. You didn't save me any time. Maybe it's referencing people from Moran, Texas. It does not make the post look any better.

I'm saying it's better to not make yourself look like a MORON by telling people they spelled it wrong when they say MORAN. In your case you might follow this simple rule: "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."It's better to spell words correctly than to make vague references that make one look ignorant.
