Us RON PAUL people listened to the "get behind the Republican candidate" thing back in 2008, when the PARTY chose to run a weak, middle-leaning war-hero rather than support true change back then.

We held our noses (well, many did) and pushed the lever for McCain, even though we didn't like his ideas and didn't see a difference between his spending policies and that of the Democratic candidate. I knew back then that McCain would be mopped from the stage by the slick speaking Obama. I also knew that a McCain presidency would be nothing different than an extension of the Bush years (which is pretty much what we've had in many ways with Obama).

Not this time... This time, you get to hold your nose and listen to the portion of the electorate who have made themselves educated about economic issues and who have personally supported a candidate (with their time and money) with integrity and whose whole career in public service has been about honesty and principles. (I dare you to even consider saying that about any of the other Presidential hopefuls).

President Paul, or we stay home. President Paul or wait to see an election where the Republican candidate once again fails to capture the hearts of independents in sufficient numbers to stand a fighting chance. President Paul, or the REVOLution will continue making inroads into and transforming the Republican party into something which more perfectly resembles the platforms of Republicans of 50 years ago. President Paul or watch the republican party start fighting itself for control...and we're more patient, more organized and more angry and willing to fight just on principle.

I've never run for public office before, but I have the paperwork completed and I want change... I want to identify all of the people responsible for the corruption I have witnessed and I want to see their only participation in the political process to be that of a voter.
