Yeah but as you might guess the Chinese have managed to flood the market with a cheap inferior product. Basically the bees get the nectar from sugar water (or something like that) from sugar refineries. So you get this watery cheap crap with no goodness in it.

In fact I was suspicious of it when it first appeared on the supermarket shelves several years ago. The stuff appeared very runny inside the jars. But the other big give a way was the price. It was obvious to me that something so cheap had something wrong with it.

Turned out I was right because I read an article about it a few weeks ago.
