Interesting about Caesar and Jupiter. However, this year, Mars is trine the Venus/Jupiter conjunction. I don't know the specifics about the infamous Ides of Mar event, but very much doubt there was a Venus/Mars trine. Probably there were Mars squares or conjunctions to one or more of the heavy planets. Then again, he had astrologers, and why didn't they tell him if so?

We are having a Grand Trine today. Venus/Jupiter trine Mars trine Pluto. It is very good, and in earth signs, good on the material side of life. It is having a protective influence now and for the next week or so. However, the New Moon on the 22nd looks pretty heated. Uranus is conjunct the New Moon and that says surprise, shocking, upsetting actions. If this were Caesar's time, and I was Caesar's astrologer, I'd say, go have a good time tonight, but watch out for the New Moon coming up.
