I move to a small private bank and could not be happier. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3693501 Same here. Where I bank now (local hometown bank) they actually pay me around $25-$45 average a month on my checking account. Any ideas on how to take it back or cost them the same, I mean within the bounds of the Law? Bad enough they were in the top three of TARP bail out monies with our Tax Dollars and then they pull this _____ _____. Oh yeah they got it coming. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13656131 What reasons did they give you for the $3,000 to come out? Just curious because I am about to close on my house tomorrow and my broker just now told me the loan (that is supposed to be with a smaller bank) may be sold off to BoA or Wells... I am so pissed off after she said that. |

He's like a cat watching TV. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5135901 Unfortunately the programming for the "unbelievable" nature of the situation means that you have to take a series of baby steps to get to the truth. This is the same reason Ron Paul avoids the topic, he has to appeal to a broad audience and not rock the boat so much that he alienates the sheep. No matter what Taibbi's opinion on 9/11, he is definitely a bulldog on the financial frauds, and avoiding 9/11 makes him more effective in that field so I don't complain even if I know better. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13699560 What next? They will finally start to hint at us that 9/11 was an inside job? One has to wonder why is TPTB slowly disclosing the truth like this? Unless they want to start mass uprisings to clean the house, and bring in a "new world order" out of the ashes like a rising phoenix... ORDO AB CHAO |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 6200427 United States 04/02/2012 03:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | F#*K Taibbi ! My 12 year old knows the financial system is corrupt. That POS is a MSM 911 denier. Look up his debate with David Ray Griffin. Griffin absolutely schools him. It was embarrassing how "uninformed" he is about the ONLY event that really matters.... Quoting: Bluepill Come on - in reading that article, and knowing Matt Taibbi is a smart cookie, doesn't it occur to you that Matt "played" the role of the antagonist deliberately? He was poorly researched. He was ignorant of key facts. He demonstrated blind obedience to the goverment report - frankly he did all the things a somewhat unintelligent debunker would do - because he knows 911 was an inside job and he played the role of protagonist on purpose. You need someone smart to debate with the Professor on 911 and to debunk the Professor. In the end, as you correctly stated, the Professor ran rings around Matt, and quite obviously so. In that case, anyone not believing in 911 conspiracy, and respecting of Matt's journalistic qualities (whether stupid, intelligent or ignorant) would then have a pretty profound reason to then begin to think a little harder as to whether it was indeed a conspiracy. Anonymous Coward User ID: 8220402 United States 04/02/2012 03:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Everyone who works, earns a wage and brings home a paycheck, and so a part of that paycheck goes to the govt. We pay taxes and that isn't really too bad of a deal. So we give a small amount to the govt. and pay the bills, ect. and what we have left over, we put into savings. Well, that amount we have left over to put into savings is much more than we are putting towards the running of our govt. So already, banks have more income than govt. to run their affairs. And the ideal of savings is to save more and more money and let it accumulate interest. So it doesn't serve any interest other than to empower the banking authority in what ever their goals may be. Govt. on the other hand, pays for it's operation as it gets the money, so it has to operate within a budget. So our labor is being harnessed when we put money into savings. Why have slavery when you can harness peoples power this way? In the end, if we were to close our account, we'd get our money back plus whatever interest we made - but in the duration it's being used - harnessed - so the bankers can wield their power. So banks are much more powerful than govts. Banks can then influence govt. to operate as they want them to operate. Banks are above govts. and above the law. Why? Because we give them all our money and they in turn use the harnessed wealth to subvert our govts. to their governance. It's not so hard to do when you've harnessed most of humanities wealth. We'll sit and complain about having to pay taxes, but we'll gladly give all our excess income to the banks who'll in turn use it's power to subvert our govt. They've convinced everyone that wealth is savings, but their wealth and yours is tied together. And they govern your wealth - you just receive a little interest. It's parasitic. |
