Dark-Side Cosmic Burst & ANOTHER CME ON ITS WAY | |

The side that it's not facing the sun. so the dark side got hit then with WHAT. i've been waiting for you in this thread. for someone `in the know` you should have some insights into this. if you don't, why don't you ask starfleet about this? |

It is very possible that a CME was hitting us and because of the cosmic fluff cloud that we are in, it is hitting us on all sides. The earths magnetosphere is strongest on the sun facing side so, If we are getting hit from all side's, The back end or in other words the dark side of earth will give in first. This fluff cloud makes the space around use and our atmosphere denser. Hence the reason we are having crazier hotter weather. Our atmosphere is becoming like a pressure cooker with the fluff cloud making it denser which holds in heat much better. The same goes for the space around us. if a CME hits earth with this cloud present, The space being denser around us would help the CME travel around the earth and take longer to dissipate. Now this is only if there is validity to this whole fluff cloud But from what i have read, It seems to be very true. What the maker of this you tube is doing suggests he doesn't have a clue. The magnetic re connections are common and there is nothing out of the ordinary about the magnetopause simulation. well the next cme arrived about 9 utc, and much bigger than the previous one. Protons going to about 47+with a huge spike after 10 utc. maybe that has something to do with the leg pain that woke me a bit early this morning. [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] there is missing data, during the spike, so who knows what that went too. bz dropped out to about -20 visually here. AE index on nict to about 1500 more than that here [link to wdc.kugi.kyoto-u.ac.jp] which is the one I trust more. Don't know why the AE index on Nict has been so mucked the last couple days with long periods of data seemingly removed after being there initially. record on [link to umtof.umd.edu] (soho) matches pretty much with ace. so far kp to 6. pretty nice storm. nice magnetic reconnection on the back side of earth, right down to the nice red heart. Anonymous Coward User ID: 7892779 United States 03/15/2012 01:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Okay, guys, I watched the video and read through the thread. Some of you are having trouble deciphering the info the guy in the video was blasting through. I kind of like his style, but I know a bit about the heliosphere and what has been recently discovered by the voyager spacecraft, but I digress. I watched this video earlier today and this guy breaks it down pretty well because he's not addressing suntards like yours truly. He gets a little religious, but I don't feel like throwing up, so he can't be all that bad. His name is MrCometWatch, and he's a likable fellow. Hope this helps. grefey User ID: 10770354 United States 03/15/2012 09:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | okay i am getting it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4609409 cme hits sleeping side of the earth, whereas cmes are only supposed to hit the side of the earth which is facing the sun. makes sense. what could happen? do i still need to do my taxes? i'm not sure if CME is a good term to use for what's hitting the backside of earth. it might not be coming from the sun, so it wouldn't be a CoronalME, some other Mass Ejection. don't know what's doing it. don't know what could happen. the magnetosphere protects us from solar wind/radiation/energetic plasmas. if the magnetopause is flippin, the magnetosphere could flip or go down. this would leave us wide open to the effects of the various cosmic particles/energies. Could these unknown energies be coming from the Galactic Center like the Mayans have predicted? Sounds logical to me. |

Very interesting and scary at same time. Quoting: I know I am 12462053 common occurrance with large cme's. have you ones not noticed this before? the reconnection is in fact good for earth, in the tail. I am glad people are noticing stuff, but they sure post the strangest you tubes some times as to what is NOT GOING ON. |

Sounds logical to me. which galactic center did you mean by that? the photon belt issues from alcyone, the central sun of the small galaxy of Pleiades, and then there is the milky way center. Alcyone issues the photon belt. the Milky way, god particles and gamma rays that stimulate huge evolutionary change. Neither cause the back side of the earth to get hit with something. Star fleet could hit it though I suppose with something. This event the creator of the video does not understand happens during many solar storms this is not unique. |
