Basically a "Change" alters the laws of physics.. Combustion engines don't work, gunpowder doesn't have any power behind it so guns are useless, and mankind reverts back to a medievilish feudal system... Rival clans start using medieval armor and weaponry to defend terrirory etc... Really cool alternate history post apocalyptic setting...

Preceded by the current "1984".

Don't laugh it off. Everyone in the future buries themselves in entertainment and luxuries, and never questions the dictator. Except for the resistance movement, who have to live in the wilderness and face execution or reeducation.
