On Synchronicity and Coincidence
[link to sacredmystic.blogspot.com]

“Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous.”Albert Einstein

Today I want to speak about Synchronicity and Coincidence. I had some other topics in mind, but out of no where I was reminded of their importance =]. Let me explain.

Synchronicity, as defined by that crazy bookworm Webster, means "an apparently meaningful Coincidence in time, of two or more similar or identical events that are causally unrelated."
Easy enough to understand eh? So what's all the hoopla? Although it probably isn't needed, let me first explain Coincidence, and how this all relates to spirituality.

A coincidence is when two or more thing happen at the same time . To put it simply, two things happening at once. The word itself doesn't imply any sort of mysterious or magical underlying nature, just that two things simply happen at the same time. We have probably all heard or said one of the following

"What a Coincidence!"
"Its probably just a Coincidence."
"That is one crazy Coincidence."

For me, the use of that word has always hinted at something more spectacular about the nature of reality. What do I mean? Let's see.

I know we have ALL experienced Coincidences that are beyond amazing. For this reason, I put a ton of emphasis on observing Coincidences. For example, you just so happen to think of a friend you haven't talked to in a really long time, and almost instantly you get a call, e-mail, or Facebook message from them. Or maybe somebody brings up a movie, an old favorite of yours, and it just so happens to come on t.v. the next day. There are countless examples of this that happen to all of us, yet every time we tend to think 'WHOA AWESOME," and then go about our lives as if something completely amazing didn't just happen.( it is important to note that in the first instance, that coincidence points to an even deeper aspect of reality that I'll eventually discuss with you guys.)

Why do we just forget about it and continue on? Some would say its because its no big deal. Some would say its because we have more important things to think about. I say its because as time goes by humans become jaded to the absolute magic, splendor, and AWESOMENESS of our existence. Paying attention to what's going on will REALLY bring some zest back into your life. Doing so with Coincidences will make it magical. ( meditation always helps ;] )

So what does any of this have to do with spirituality? For me, Coincidences are glaring proof that EVERYTHING is connected. That somehow the entire multi-verse resonates with each of us. I like to look at Coincidences as a Synchronistic message from pure consciousness reminding us of what we are, and the path that we walk. Sounds deep? IT IS!

Its like every time you experience a crazy coincidence, even de-ja-vu, you are actually receiving insight as to how the multi-verse has aligned itself for you. So I say be on alert for Coincidences, they are guide posts telling you which way to go. Don't trust me? See for yourself.

The other night I had a dream where I met a lady who looked a lot like my deceased grandmother, only younger. I couldn't help but wonder if this lady was related to her at all. We had a long heartfelt conversation about life, each other, aspirations, and whatever else came up. I felt completely comfortable with this woman. Towards the end of the conversation I couldn't help but ask if she was related in any way to the Burns's (my grandmother's maiden name.) She replied by saying that that was her last name. Everything made sense. This lady must have been related to my grandmother.

So I wake up in the morning (hallelujah), and I start to think back on my dreams the night before. It dawned on me that I was actually talking to my grandmom in my dream. Maybe she came to me to check up on me and see how my life was going, or maybe she gave me a message, or maybe it was just a really crazy dream involving a woman who looked exactly like my grandmother if i had known her in her 30's giving me personal insight into how her mind worked and some of the advantages of her mental faculties that were passed down to me.=] Either way I thought "Awesome, I should call my mom later to let her know." (Btw, my mom is really into psychic phenomenon, spirits, angels, and other cool stuff)

I went through my day and basically forgot the whole encounter until my mom called me while I was out grocery shopping.( I forget a lot of things) She said " Ry, why did you call me like 5 times last night?"
Confused, I responded " Huh? What are you talking about?
"You called me about 5 times at three in the morning Ry, I called you back and someone answered, but nobody spoke and they hung up."

This blew my mind because my girlfriend and I had been asleep since 12, and we left the phone on an end table with an alarm on so we could wake up early. Immediately, I remembered the dream and told my mom all about it. She wasn't surprised one bit because before she went to sleep she had been thinking about her Mom all night(My grandmom* just in case you didn't catch that.) Crazy stuff ey?

So what was the significance of the coincidence here. Well my mom deduced immediately that her Mother must have wanted to get in touch with her. I on the other hand, felt as though I played my part, received encouragement to continue on my path, and delivered a message that for some reason I was meant to deliver. Who really knows the importance of the coincidence? Out of its existence I drew inspiration to take positive and meaningful action. That in itself is part of the essence of our spiritual path. To learn to live positively and take meaningful action. Si?

So I know the information in this post isn't as concrete, or filled with as much instruction as my previous posts, but I feel the importance of what is normally thought of as coincidence as paramount to our spiritual quest. I feel it to be highly important that we maintain enough awareness to realize the signs that the universe sends us throughout our day. I see coincidence as playing a major role in providing us the situational circumstances to our innermost wants and desires. If we follow them , we will see that much of the work is done for us by the universe when it comes to achieving the things we want. By my own account, following the signs of Coincidence has brought me all across the country multiple times with little to nothing to call my own. It has landed me in situations that have aided my spiritual journey in ways unfathomable. So much so, that I am repeatedly told that I must be a really lucky fella. The truth is, I just follow the signs. =]

I'm not asking anyone to just blindly accept what I'm saying, but rather to take the time to see whether what I am saying resonates with you or not. Pay attention for Coincidences and follow them. See where it brings you! But don't expect this or ANY of the things I post here to be an answer to your troubles. The journey has ups because it has downs, and vice versa. Take them both in stride. =] And when you do have a crazy Coincidental experience, or if you have already experienced some, OR if you have been paying attention to them for awhile and would like to tell us about your experiences then LEAVE SOME LOVE IN THE COMMENT SECTION! =]

Until next time, safe travels!

Re: On Synchronicity and Coincidence
There Are No Coincidences - there is synchronism, design and alignment. This is the title of the 74-page booklet that satisfies the prophecy of The Revelation 5:1-10:10 with its cover having the "7 Seals"/'beyond Einstein theories' (google that).

Here's an excerpt from Seal #7: Reincarnation Theory & its 23 Principles/Theory of Luck (ex. Einstein returned as Watson)...

luck: a force that brings either good or bad fortune.

Now we know exactly how that force works...

Luck 100 = [karma 4 + modesty 1] x [desire 4 + actions 4 + abilities 4 + contributions 4 + blessings 4]

Re: On Synchronicity and Coincidence
Atheists - by definition - don't believe in any deity. But this means they don't believe in a Creator GOD or God-incarnate, they don't believe that the Universe has design to it, they don't believe everything is connected, they believe in coincidences and randomness, no afterlife, no karma, and no such thing as luck.

Google: There Are No Coincidences, "7 Seals" revealed as 'Beyond Einstein Theories' or search this forum.

There Are No Coincidences - there is synchronism, interconnectedness, nonlocality, retrocausality, subconscious telepathy, design-and-alignment, signs from GOD, consequences. This is the title of the 74-page booklet that satisfies the prophecy of The Revelation 5:1 with its cover having the "7 Seals"/'Beyond Einstein Theories' (google that).

Here's an excerpt from Seal #7: Reincarnation Theory & its 26 Principles including the Theory of Luck, Buddhism's 4 Points (ex. Einstein returned as Watson)...

luck: a force that brings either good or bad fortune.

Now we know exactly how that force works...

Luck 100 = (karma 4 + modesty 1) x (desire 4 + actions 4 + abilities 4 + contributions 4 + blessings 4)
