Firstly... he's not my husband and never will be.

Secondly... Man up... was my point.

Why do people keep using the dumb phrase "man up"? It was invented by Hollywood, does it mean to twist people's arms if they don't treat you the way you want to be treated? What exactly does it mean? Nobody seems to know.

wise UP and be a man

Grow UP and be a man

etc

etc

etc

"Man ^ Up"

Not being sarcastic here, just giving you an answer you asked for.

You women are terrified that men will leave you for robogirls which is why you lash out. My mom is more understanding, she just wants me to be happy, be with a human woman or a robogirl, my life, my choice.

I'd never even heard of the idea of using a robot as a sex slave/maid/cook/baby sitter until you started talking about it.

So I doubt us women are terrified of men leaving us for them.

Besides... they don't exist! So no fear here.

They don't?

To insult me and show me and mom how rude women are.
 Quoting: Space_Ace

Your poor Mum. She's just as concerned for your mental state as the rest of us are. You can tell from the conversation you posted.

Do your Mum a favour and seek help, before she has a break down.
 Quoting: Lumen

Not a problem.
I'm sure there's an auto shop nearby that'll fix her up for a reasonable price if she breaks down.

Re: Have you discussed relationships with robogirls/roboguys with your family? See my conversation with mom.
First, that's actually quite a remarkable conversation. Very weird to have with your mom, but it's very interesting.

Second, you don't have to pay for beautiful women. You can find beautiful women who aren't gold diggers. It's hard, but it's possible. Gotta make sure to not let her know you're rich until pretty far into the relationship. then you'll know.
If she's interested in you when she thinks you make a modest living, you'll be safe.

third, what about reproduction? You can't get kids from a robot. I didn't read the whole conversation, so it could've been brought up.

Fourth, Haven't you seen the futurama episode where they explain the dangers of robosexual relations?!?!?

I'd like to add, you make good points in that argument. But your mom's probably right, like all moms usually are.

sigh, op you don't even realize how much your mom loves you just by having that idiotic conversation with you.
everyone is capable of love. that is who and what we are, in essence.
we are the consciousness of love slowed down to appear like physical matter.
robots will not help you evolve. you are just playing scared. it is probably better that you stay celebate than give your creative energy to a robot.
