Neumayer pics getting strange every week

It was explained over 8 months ago. Why do you suppose the reflections look the same and the Moon & Sun are basically at the same angle.

Swamp gas, Chinese lantern and lens flare came together.

This video has nothing to do with WHAT OP is talking about. This video clearly explains the reflections.

What is strange is the square moon. Go back and look at the OP link. So if the moon is square fine. But it sure is bright as shit.

Also pic 14 seems to show a sphere of some sort, it did not come from the reflection from the station as we seen in the other posted video.

Also, why has the object always been blacked out as it crossed the sky recently(many claim it is because it puts out too much light for the digital camera to process)...Hmmm, possibly....but now it is not blacked out and changes shapes...

And if it is the Moon, when did it start putting out so much light that a camera lens has to filter it out?

Watch it again. The Moon goes squarish when I turn the exposure way down at time 4:54. You can do all sorts of things playing the the exposure setting. You can track the new Moon Reflection almost all the way back to when the Moon was over the Station in the current version. Strain and you can see it.

Yep this is what we are seeing. Its distorting the moon in those photos.

TBar, are you saying that the exposure settings are being manipulated for different frames from that camera? I understand how you did it, but why is it being done on different frames from the same camera? Is it the camera angle?

E-mail them and ask if it's set to automatic or not. My guess would be it's set to automatic at a very low setting so you can SEE at night. Why do the freaking light bulbs look like a Sun? If you notice, the camera on the top looking South is set differently. Look at what the Moon looked like on that camera. Not the same is it.

At 1:00 and 2:00 you can plainly see a sphere. What is it? Gone by 2:20.

How can you get pics of the Moon from a camera facing South and another camera facing North AT THE SAME TIME! The Moon would have to be in 2 locations at the same time...opposite directions.

Aurora Australis

Easy, the camera shooting the building is facing SOUTHEAST. The camera on the building is facing SOUTH. That's why the Moon can be seen on both at the same time. What makes you think one camera is facing North.

To me, 141 looks like aurora and an and ....Moon, maybe? What really looks interesting to me are frames 6-14 after the bright "moon" object leaves the field of view. There is a dimly seen body following it. Is it some sort of refraction from the "moon" shining obliquely on the side of the lens (while remaining out of view) or "Nibiru," whatever the hell that is supposed to be...

Edit: I just want to point out that, at the South Pole, it is called Aurora Australis. "Boreal" refers to North. "Australis" refers to South.

No, the camera is looking at the North FACE of the building. How could you see the north face if the camera was facing North? It was proven last YEAR that the camera is facing SOUTHEAST. It's even in Google Earth now. The building runs North & South and from the camera you are looking SE.

Here is a map of the area. Which side of the building is considered the North face?

The side that faces north most likely

Unless they let the Australians orient it

The End that has the Neumayer Station written on it and the ramp, that the camera can see, is the North face. Hey, I've done numerous Sun, Moon, & Star observations, the camera is facing SE. You can see it in Google Earth too.
