CARLESBERG SWARM. I see in that Brittanica link up above that The Carlsberg Ridge extends to the GULF OF ADEN, which as we all know was that area where tons of ships were sent by the governments of many countries, supposedly to deal with "Somali Pirates" which many believe was a government cover up.

It's making me think of going out and buying some beer. Perhaps this EQ was sponsored by the Carlsberg beer company...

But seriously, this Carlsberg swarm is still interesting

I've only been watching for the past year or so, and this is the first I've seen there. But it likely doesn't mean anything, EQ's pop up in odd places sometimes. The plate it's on is actively sliding into another and the EQ's could be a result from that.

Yes Mag 5+ EQ are somewhat common along that ridge. If you do a "Carlsberg" search GLP you'll find 3 or 4 different posts since 2005 of EQ's along the ridge. But we are watching everything closely right now in anticipation of a large EQ somewhere on the planet in the near future.

Have you noticed that all but 1 of those quakes have been at a depth of 10km? It has been rumored that this could be a sign of a HAARP induced earthquake.

The Antipode of the Carlsberg Ridge is the currently unstable Galagapos Trench and Pacific Rise.

The Antipode of New Zealand is Spain/France which has seen land cracks, fissures, recent quakes......

Noticed a swarm a quakes today but odd there has been no activity in japan in the last 24 hours

Yip they seem to coming in tick and fast today
wonder what causing that....

Yep, saw all these Carlsberg Ridge EQ's coming up on my earthquake app and first thing I did was hit GLP to see what's going on.

I knew someone would be on it. LOL

What in the world is going on there? Someone said weapons testing. With that swarm I wouldn't doubt it but something is definitely slipping there.... fer sho.

Where is BendingLight? He seems to be one of the resident EQ-tards here.

I wonder if this area has any bearing on other places like the stuff he put together with the Indonesian plate, Alaska and South America??
