He is certainly presenting a theory, but I see no evidence he doesnt believe in his chosen topic and his research - hence he may well certainly be of the opinion "everything contrary to it are lies". Do you have proof he does not believe in the topic? His work is available for free, so I hope DVD sales is not your evidence.

I think it's well understood some ppl and companies do exactly what you are saying - however such allegations also require proof. I sell prints of my artwork ... does that mean I dont believe in my art?

As you claim to be a truth seeker, do you not investigate theories via a variety of places and methods? You may imply that I'm a shill (tho I'm only new here and dont know Lucas from a bar of soap) but I too consider myself a truth seeker ... and with that comes the problem that absolute truth is difficult to put an finger on these days.

You say you "KNOW" the theory has been debunked (I hope not from that lame debunking video alone). I have watched the debunking video, I have seen vids of the 188 days theory, and I have pursued my own research also. I do not believe in Nibiru et al., but I do think there might be something to this 188 day cycle. MIGHT BE. I'm still not convinced yet, either way. You see, in seeking truth, I prefer to remain open until I believe I have found it - and even then, I KNOW someone somewhere would disagree. Could it be possible he is also on a search for truth and simply presenting his findings (and yes, his beliefs) to his audience?

Are only peer reviewed scientists allowed to present theories, opinions, research, and conclusions? That's kinda giving a lot of personal power away. Additionally, peer reviewed scientists often come up with conflicting results in different studies - look to medical cannabis studies for good examples of that. Look to tobacco and oil companies for examples of peer reviewed scientists being paid generously to seek biased results.

It's quite incredible, you know ... people are capable of watching both vids, even doing their own research, and making up their own minds! The fact the debunking vid has over 16000 views would suggest ppl are doing exactly that. As frustrating as they can be at times, everyday people can be pretty amazing too. Shocking revelation, I know.

Now where is your proof that I "don't support those who point out that it's BS"? I merely stated that I dont understand the problem with the options Lucas offers for consumption of his films, and that I support his right to make films of "this sort of thing" (ie. his theories, research, beliefs, and conclusions). By your response I guess you were actually alluding to something else with "this sort of thing" and I gave a wrong answer in your opinion.

Your repetitive claims without any new info or valid proof, have done little to broaden my understanding of that.

That's because it is a matter of fact go and read the last few pages of posts. He refuses to address the points in the video debunking him, and claims it's based on lies, but offers no proof of this.


I wouldn't call it a theory as it has been debunked. Theories require a valid basis of fact and reasoning. What he is proposing is an INCORRECT OPINION AT BEST (assuming he actually believes his own dribble)


It really is irrelevant whether he believes his own garbage or not. The substance of my posts are to point out he is incorrect to those not already aware. I am doing this as a service to others who may be easily swayed by LUCUS's outlandish claims.


Of course I investigate theories, hence why I ended out watching LUCUS's Crapumentary. I was interested in seeing what all the hype was about. And to no surprise I discovered it was just that all hype.

I do agree that absolute truth is difficult to put a finger on. Hence when I can get a finger on it I put one there. This is a clear case where LUCUS is verifiably wrong in many ways one of which is outlined in the debunking video.

That video offers only a glimpse into the incorrect assumptions put forth by LUCUS. The video is far from lame, I suggest you watch again if you can't pick up on what is wrong with LUCUS's assertion that there is a 188 day cycle.

His claim of a large dark star approaching earth being the source of earthquakes and comet ELININ's disintegration doesn't jive with even basic hichschool physics.


Of course not (who ever mentioned peer reviewed scientists)?. However any theory must be backed by sound reasoning, data, and stand up to valid scrutiny. Yes there can be conflicting theories, that's why they are a theory and not a law. Obviously conflicting theories can't both be right, hence science searches for the evidence of each theories validity. Once a theory is shown to be invalid (ie. debunked) it is demoted from theory status, as it can be proven incorrect. This is what LUCUS is pitching a idea that is incorrect. IT IS NOT A THEORY!

THEORY must MEET certain criteria:
1. Be based on solid data/ and or reasoning
2. Be able to solidly stand against sound reasoning

The debunking video shows LUCUS's idea to fail both criteria 1 and 2. However LUCUS wants to just ignore this because he claims the debunk video creator didn't watch his video. LUCUS has no evidence of this, and when asked for evidence he resorts to shill, troll name calling etc...


Yes you are correct. There are many intelligent people out their completely capable of coming to the correct conclusion themselves. However LUCUS only presents his viewpoint/ opinion, he doesn't even acknowledged the other video as if it's beneath him. My point of posting is to make sure people get the other viewpoint so they can make a better decision, however LUCUS seems to take offence to this.

I clearly stated there isn't a problem, but somehow you attach other peoples problems to me as discussed at the top of this post. If he wishes to propose his ideas a beliefs, I would have no argument with that. I do have one when he claims his beliefs as fact and or valid theories. I can also understand why he would not want to address someone who did not have enough respect to watch his film before making a video attempting to make claim against, not just the doco, but his motives and character. More about this later also.

To a great extent, I agree. But just to be argumentative ... prove we really exist and are not simply a figment of something's imagination. Prove we see the exact same shade of blue on GLP. Even a straight line is theoretical and technically can never be drawn or measured. Nothing can ever truely be proven "correct" - but we can take a mighty good stab at it. Also, I may be wrong in the execution, but I use 'theory' as a synonym for 'idea' or even 'opinion', amongst others.



I dont agree that Potholer's video achieved that successfully.



Potholer certainly never claims, or even indicates, that he has watched 188 Days. He does claim to have tracked "the source" via an interview he did watch, in which he was pointed to the trailer for 188 Days, and from there to Lucas' website. Potholer mentions the DVD, but does not mention the doco is also available for free. And as it turns out anyway, Lucas is NOT the original source of the 188 day cycle "assertion". Now there's some reliable investigative research in itself. Not.



What "other video"? Potholer's video? Which was made AFTER 188 Days? Lucas has claimed he posted the debunk video to his FB - What more does someone need to do to acknowledge a video that is attempting to slander not only his ideas, but his character (ie. that Lucas is only out to sell DVDs)??



Just DO IT already. Not just the debunker video, either. Since it seems important to you that people are enabled to "make a better decision" about the topic, flood us with "the other viewpoint" from lots of sources. Prove him wrong with overwhelming data, not hollow assumptions about his motives.

Haven't watched the documentary yet but...

My 11 year old daughter came home from school today and tells me that they are learning about earthquakes in her 6th grade science class. The teacher put up some usgs maps, explained the ring of fire and told them about the 188 day cycle.
