i dont get behind the wheel unless im stoned. the highways are dangerous and if im gonna die driving i wanna die high.

If if you people have ever drivin stoned you would know that your driving skills improve. Its not the same as dving drunk. Drunk and stoned are totally different. Stop spewing off shit if you have never done it. There have even been studies on the effects of marijuana and driving. Its more likly to get into an accident while diving sober; and that is only if you are an experienced smoker who can hold his/hers shit together. This is nothing but anti marijuana legalization propaganda. And its working on all of you.

We already have people toking and driving, taking all sorts of legal intoxicants adn driving, etc, and legalizing weed won't make any of that worse or different.

I have dealt with the dipshits that smoke blunts and go for joy rides only to wreck into innocent people that did nothing to deserve their demise. If you are impaired from drinking, smoking, taking of methamphetamines, anything like that even if it is prescription you should NOT be able to drive anything that could endanger another persons life. If definately should be a crime punishable by prison terms.

as has been said, pure propaganda. the people bashing pot have obviously never smoked. also, keep in mind the people using marijuana medicinally use it everyday and are probably very used to the buzz, if it even impairs them at all. It would akin to drinking a coffee or a tea that relaxes you. infact you'd be suprised that pot makes you a more in tune, patient driver. Plus, people using it medicinally generally bake/eat it which is a much more subtle buzz than smoking. Would you rather be driving beside a stoned person going a bit slower or someone texting/eating/drinking/watching bluray? Keep in mind weed is a STIMULANT, so we should ban coffee as well develop a blood test to measure the amount of adrenaline in your system to see if youre too tired to drive.

wow ur a fucking genius bro, while were at it lets level the playing field and ban anyone taking any drugs (anti depressants, advil, allergy meds all affect your clarity) from driving. that pretty much wipes out 90% of the north american population.

People who smoke the natural herb from God are much more attentive than any other drivers on the road. Many people I meet on the road are pumped full of dangerous prescription poisons while tapping away at their cell phones. It is amazing how the divide and conquer mentality is still present. Alcohol is very deadly even when the user is not behind the wheel. Alcohol should be banned and the herb should be legalized. If pot was legal we would not have people dying all over the world from stress and violent behavior. Also people who smoke herb can see through the BS three ring circus of laws and distractions. The elite cannot have a free thinking society. They would not be able to rule if herb was legal.

Driving stoned is no problem...I drove to school everyday stoned and had no problems whatsoever...Passed many cops on the way.

Here's a novel idea...Most DUI's aren't determined by Breathalyzer alone, in fact that's usually the LAST step in a field sobriety test to confirm the person is impaired. Often if you pass the various physical tests, even after admitting having drank a few drinks, they don't even bother to test B.A.C. and let you go on your merry way.

Why don't they use the same tests they use for drunks (walk a straight line, touch your finger to your nose, test eye reaction time) on people suspected of marijuana use?
