yep, now we're talking tsunami creating faults, the only way there's going to be a tsunami in california is underwater land slides, which is highly unlikely.

The faults off the coast of oregon/washington/alaska are more likely to create destructive tsunami waves. which would dissipate by the time it hits california, and california would have at least an hour warning, more like 2 or 3 to evacuate from coastal areas.

I wouldn't say that...that HUGE canyon off Monterey bay is the makings for the perfect mega tsunami...don't you think????
