For those of you that still live in caves, Canadian women are some of the toughest around. This land was settled by strong willed women. You had to be to survive the harsh climate. Fortunately, they passed this strength on to those of us that came after them.

Actually, I have an amazing husband who adores me, and I adore him.

What she did was horrible, if you can't see that, then there isn't anything else to say.

I just want to say that as Americans we dont know how things are in other places. You see, we have blinders on that make us think "it could never be that bad to deserve this or that".. and even though i dont agree with what she did- we dont know if she really did have another way out. And whats been said would show that she didnt..

What makes she a monster in my opnion is the cruelty of the crime.
okay, he oppressed her, to the point that she could only feel free by kill him. I understand her side. But the cruelty she applied in the crime makes her as monstrous as those who oppress her.
Now she will probably be killed, and I wonder, the crime worth it? she got freedom to be herself?

I've found that if I treat them properly then I can get a good nights sleep. A Woman who is treated well treats you well in return...just choose wisely in the beginning and don't spoil her by treating her like a Princess. I've applied this logic to raising my 4 daughters as well as to their Mother,the girls are a credit to themselves and their Mother remains girlish and happy.
