CEREAL AISLE: $2.00 for box of healthy stuff, $5.99 for GMO, HFCS junk.
POLL: Which kind of cereal would you rather buy?
 15.5 oz. of cheaper, healthy cereal that's tasty and good for you.
 14 oz. of higher-priced, cancer-causing trash cereal.
 Blank (View Results)

It literally is hysterical how absurd the cereal aisle is -- when I walk down the cereal aisle at the grocery store and I see a mile-long row of mega-corporation produced GARBAGE that includes:

* HFCS
* GMOs
* Food coloring
* Preservatives
* Soy and Canola Oil
* BHT
* Aspartame
* Sucralose
* Partially Hydrogenated oils

...I HAVE TO FUCKING LAUGH!

Even Quaker Oats is full of refined sugar and food coloring. Gross!

And they call it "natural"! LOL!

So what do you pay for all of that cancer and diabetes-causing effluent from Kellogs and General Mills?

Usually between $4.39 and $5.99 for a 14 oz box of shit.

OR...

You could try out Mom's Best Naturals "Pom Wheat-fuls", a delicious wheat cereal with a crust of blueberry glaze (only a few ingredients, nothing artificial, and nothing GMO) for a 15.5 oz box at only $2.00. Yes, TWO DOLLARS. It was on sale, but I believe the regular price was something like $3.29 -- still WAY cheaper than any comparative product. Not only that, the box is 100% recycled material.

Their web site is at: www.betteroats.com

Now why would anyone buy that other garbage when you could buy something BETTER for you, better tasting and WAY cheaper and MORE of it (15.5oz is a lot, since most cereals are around 14oz or LESS -- you're mostly getting AIR in those boxes)?

So much for the notion that Sheep, er *cough* consumers were "coat-conscious" -- if it will give 'em cancer, they'll pay any price for it.

The big MEGA CORPORATIONS are a FUCKING JOKE, a scourge to the planet and sell over-priced, disease-causing TRASH. Stop buying it (except for Lucky Charms, they can stay)!

We have to PUNISH these garbage mega corporations and let them know we're paying attention.

Usually the stuff that's better for you is more expensive. The gmo stuff is cheaper and in more colorful boxes so that the sheep will buy it.

I don't buy cereal. Grain makes my kidneys and liver fail now, thanks to GMOs. When you consider a caterpillar is just an intestine with a mouthpiece and a butthole, and you put toxins in the plant to kill that, it kills whatever eats it, not just bugs. Thanks Cry1Ab. It's the best plant for dieting ever! I can't eat it, it works so well.

People buy the box. It is their habit to do the cereal, like a drug, in the morning, until they get old enough to require prescriptions every morning, and replace the cereal with coffee and maybe a scrambled eggwhite.

But the commercials tell them to eat cereal in the morning. That is the source of the disease. Without the ads the boxes of sawdust would not sell.

I really dont like the big brand cereals they dont fill me up. I ate a whole box of Corn Pops when my buddy gave me a box about a month ago and would NEVER buy it myself.

My favorite cereals 5 grain hot cereal, cream of wheat and all time favorite Nature's Path Pumpkin Flax Plus (but its freaking expensive).
