Yeah, thats that lame excuse they call the xfinity box. 3-5 dollars per month per tv they are going to charge. More big brother. Greedy SOB's! Suppose to prevent people from stealing cable at our expense no doubt.

Hated Comcast with a passion. The bill changed from month to month. I called had it reduced and set to $70 for six months and they raised it in increments every month until it got back to the original $96. When I called and told them that I was guaranteed six months at $70 she said she could get me some credit but not all. So I said turn it off. That was over a year and a half ago and I feel free. No more stress from that dam ever changing bill. I have an HD antennae and I get 5 HD channels for freaking free. Comcast charged extra for HD. They are bastards and I believe that there business model is slowly but surely on the way out. I just love the tech of the 21st century.

Yeah, my bill was around $70.00 dollars a month and that was for one of their lower rated packages. My wife was the only one that watch it and she died of cancer in 2010. I watched it maybe once a week and figured "forget this" it just isn't worth it. So I had it disconnected 2 months ago and don't miss it at all.

Now if they ever come out with a package that you can pick and chose a few channels that you watch and keep the bill under 30 dollars then I might have it reconnected, but I am not paying out the ass for channels I never watch or intend to watch and on top of that a lot of the time that I am paying for is taken up by commercials. How stupid do you have to be to pay out the ass for them to show you commercials?

I'm getting ready to pull the plug on comcast. It's just not worth the money. If I could select my own channels, I would keep it.

I had comcast in 07 and we were moving so we closed out our account and moving in with my in-laws in 08 I go to check my credit report and it says that I have a past due balance of 465 dollars when I contacted Comcast they said that it was because our equipment was not returned which it was because I took it there myself. So 4 years later they are still trying to charge me ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS!!!!! I will never use comcast again and will never move into a place where you have to have cable!

I used to plug my cable directly into the TV and got HD local channels and everything else with no box. Now all of a sudden I have got to have a box? Did technology get set back 20 years? The stupid box now shows me blue screens of all the channels I do not subscribe to as I flip through channels, and to get HD I have to set the TV to a different input than I do for regular channels. Comcast is BS. Something about bandwith is the excuse but I just want to plug the cable into the back of the TV like I always have, now it takes a box and 2 remotes.

They will distribute "free" boxes to lock their own open doors then raise everyone's bill in a month or so. But the charge will not be for the box itself I am guessing.

I used to install DirecTV satellite systems.

EVERY SINGLE DAY I would hear complaints from former Comcast customers bitching about how Comcast was raising their rates while reducing services.



Their hardware, cables and connectors, were really shitty quality, too.

Yeah, I just bought a smartphone (Spectrum) yesterday, because I cant stand paying 87 dollars for a damn internet connection, that costs Comcast nothing except for maintenance.


Its BS, so decided to get rid of it.

My billing date has been changing every month. I think they are trying to soak an extra month out of the year. it's move up 1 week in two months. I've had to talk to customer service at least once an month since I started their service. The bill is never the same price and there are extras added to it.

The only other internet in my area is dsl, and it's slow. Now what? Turn off service and take turns on the internet?

Is there a lawyer in the house? I thought there were business laws that prevented from over billing and hidden fee's. What is our government doing? This service is a monopoly in the region, and I'm getting Boned. I should get billed the same day every month, period. The same straight forward amount every month, all the bs already figured into the price.

I have heard this from others and I experienced demands for equipment I had already returned PLUS they demanded that I return an Internet modem that we purchased at Best Buy. It wasn't their modem but they insisted it was... eventually they explained that they add the serial number of modems to our account and then they can't tell whose modem it is. Hours of phone calls with rude morons. Their behavior is that of a business hell bent on self destruction. Our new company is ten bucks a month more but Internet is faster and they are NICE and efficient when call them.

Comcast is a reptilian/lizard company who's sole purpose is to feed off the agony and stress of their employees and customers. See David dIcke reptilians. Yes, they steal your money, but their main purpose is to feed of the negative energy that they generate.

and yet everyone pays double for service and no one ever complains about that
