I called had it reduced and set to $70 for six months and they raised it in increments every month until it got back to the original $96. When I called and told them that I was guaranteed six months at $70 she said she could get me some credit but not all. So I said turn it off. That was over a year and a half ago and I feel free. No more stress from that dam ever changing bill. I have an HD antennae and I get 5 HD channels for freaking free. Comcast charged extra for HD. They are bastards and I believe that there business model is slowly but surely on the way out. I just love the tech of the 21st century. How stupid do you have to be to pay out the ass for them to show you commercials? . |

Did technology get set back 20 years? The stupid box now shows me blue screens of all the channels I do not subscribe to as I flip through channels, and to get HD I have to set the TV to a different input than I do for regular channels. Comcast is BS. Something about bandwith is the excuse but I just want to plug the cable into the back of the TV like I always have, now it takes a box and 2 remotes. |

But the charge will not be for the box itself I am guessing. |

I think they are trying to soak an extra month out of the year. it's move up 1 week in two months. I've had to talk to customer service at least once an month since I started their service. The bill is never the same price and there are extras added to it. The only other internet in my area is dsl, and it's slow. Now what? Turn off service and take turns on the internet? Is there a lawyer in the house? I thought there were business laws that prevented from over billing and hidden fee's. What is our government doing? This service is a monopoly in the region, and I'm getting Boned. I should get billed the same day every month, period. The same straight forward amount every month, all the bs already figured into the price. Cheats and thieves. Damn you all!!!!!! |

So 4 years later they are still trying to charge me ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS!!!!! I will never use comcast again and will never move into a place where you have to have cable! It wasn't their modem but they insisted it was... eventually they explained that they add the serial number of modems to our account and then they can't tell whose modem it is. Hours of phone calls with rude morons. Their behavior is that of a business hell bent on self destruction. Our new company is ten bucks a month more but Internet is faster and they are NICE and efficient when call them. |
