What If You're Right... Jesus Was Just Another Nice Guy?

Jeezus being just another nice guy would explain why he never got the girl, might help him put those gay rumours to bed.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I got the feeling its about ready to HTF. Soon, and very soon, we could ALL be knocking on Heavens door...

If were right and jesus was just another nice guy/prophet. Then christians are worshiping a false god. God have pity on thier souls.

The problem is he wasn't (isn't) such a nice guy. Tell me which part of the bible you get the feeling he was nice.....

He was good enough to take time out of his busy life to heal a sick dude that's quite nice of him as i don't believe a payment was demanded then there was the time he saved the party by organizing extra booze.

LOL. I'll give you the booze thing. His first miracle:turn water into wine. That actually was very cool of him...

Jesus is way more than just a nice guy, He is my Saviour and Lord and I am nothing without Him. I am forever thankful for the day He came into my life. He is with me every step I take and guides me in everything. He is my protection, He is everything to me and I can't imagine a life without Him.

I hear you...I think you'r missing my point. Most use the "nice" adjective describing Christ in a derogatory manner. "I think Jesus was nice, like Buddha, Muhammed, etc." "I think Jesus was a great man."

In fact, there are countless examples of him being an SOB...

"Who is my mother, who is my brother?...

"I come with a sword.."

"leave the dead to bury the dead... etc...

I just don't think the "nice" option was something Jesus would be happy about...

So confused, i thought Jesus was Gods son not God himself.

Humanists and deists like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and many others regarded Jesus as just another nice guy worthy of leading a religious movement. Am not in the camp with these people. You?

The wine was a nice touch, I've tried to read metaphor in that story, yet even I can not. He just did it, like ya say, as a party trick.

Every loves Jesus, no reason not to, no need to believe he's a God, something in the story for everyone.

Making him into an all powerful God, I think that is what makes other resent him, that and false teachers. We look at the World and ask, why does Jesus not fix this?

When the answer does not come, we resent Jesus. If it were a Just World, they would never have killed him. He came to teach us lessons, and the greatest lesson of all was his death.

Somethings worth dying for, if we all lived that way, the World would not be full of Slaves.

The first rule of keeping a Slave a Salve, is to never teach a Slave about Jesus.

Don't believe it, what power did Dr.King have?

What office did he hold?

Only power he had came from a two thousand year old book.

Why does any think the "NWO" wants to destroy Jesus yet again, because they want a World full of Slaves whom never question their authority.

...And what would Jesus do?

He gave His life so you can know Him and understand...
Everyone who wants to find love and God comes to Jesus.
If you don't know Jesus and if you don't love Him,you don't know God.
I assure you that Christ will reign,and eternity is a long time...so think about it,where do you want to be?
I will rather be the smallest in kingdom of Heaven,than the greatest in this life.
If you get to know Jesus,no prison or grave can hold you,you are free through Him.
He is our redeemer.

God will reign,in flesh,and every knee shall bow,and everyone will get their reward.
We can't fool God.

The most important thing is, do you know Him?

Are you prepared to die if it HTF, and you did not accept God's salvation for your eternal soul?

How can't you see,He lived a life and made himself a body to show you that you are a sinner and you need to know Him and understand Him to be free.
He said:

My friend,i am not a stupid guy,at least not a lot,
but who isn't.
I am just a so called normal guy who has began to understand this world and patterns in this world.
When you have time to study and research you can see that all of this is not a coincidence...this is not a moment of something in nothingness....
This is complex information and everything makes sense when you start to connect the dots.
All of life on this planet is not existing without purpose,but has deep significance and everything exists in a pattern which mankind is disturbing more and more increasingly...
Don't you see,we have a lifetime for a purpose,and you have a chance to give it for others or for yourself.
It is a matter of choice.

What I do know is, He healed the sick, the crippled, the blinde, and raised some from the grave. He said, He must be handed over to the authorities, and be crucified, and that He would rise again on the third day. The tomb was indeed empty on the third day, even tho it was heavily guarded. HMMM?

Since He did all of that, I truly believe He was whom He said He was. The Son of God! He also said, that He came to save sinners, which we ALL are. Why would He do all of that , and than suffer and die on a cross if He wasn't who He said He was?

LOL I have to laugh. If any Christian hasn't thought what you just said at some point they would be in denial! Good examples. It's funny how Jesus was made into a pacificst airhead by the so called "Jesus Freaks" in the 60's and it has carried on since.
