Funny to see that you guys saying algerians are arabs infact it's wrong ! , algerian supposed to be a mixed race , most of them are ottomans which includes Romanians,Bulgarians,Serbians,Slavs,turks,spanjards,italians,​albanians,greeks,macedonians,israelites,romans and last but not least arabs which these race plays a keyrole to arabic existence !

the biggest fact in algeria they deny that they are european-white-caucasian because they are mixed , they have various races on their dna , some of them have aryan bloodlines which supposed to be very rare in algeria , the berbers lives a very long time before the roman invasion !

one thing i can't tell is that adolf hitler is a berber too , he is a descendent of the algerian-berber people

You all are confusing race and ethnicity. A Caucasian person does not necessarily have ethnic roots in the Caucasus mountains! And a 'Caucasian' can be any shade from albino to dark brown. Does 'whiteness' REALLY matter to anyone? My Algerian friend has olive skin and self-identifies as White.

To compare, how does this statement sound? "He's saying the man's White, and I argued that he's American and not White."

On another note, Algeria has been occupied and invaded bazillions of times over the eons, and though the population is originally mostly Berber, many other ethnicities and shades of skin are part of the whole mix. Just like America.

If you don't like someone else defining your race or ethnicity, why try to do it for those you know little about? Just ask directly, then believe what they say. In a global population, race is irrelevant. We're all Homo sapiens, just a very few genes away from monkeys!
