When you wake up in the morning, before you become mindful, that is, before any thought comes, you exist, effortlessly.

And the world appears effortlessly in front of your eyes.

That is the truth.

Everything that you then remember, and it happens instantly, is your creation and it is not the truth.

Everything that you can tell me about your self first has to be remembered by you before you can tell it to me, because you are remembering your own creation.

And we become trapped in that creation which is not the truth.

And we are searching for the truth, for that one which created the one who is trapped in the mind and searching for freedom from that.

You.

There may or not be a God. I believe that there is.

But he did not create me.

Of course if you are enjoying being your creation, then none of this really matters to you and that’s fine.

But that creation can be manipulated, controlled and exploited.

Whilst the self is subject to nobody else’s authority.
