If there is an accurate model to predict them and the 188 day cycle is real - then AWESOME, because it would save lives. However, if it isn't then get back to the drawing board so we can figure out the real pattern, because I'd imagine there has to be one. |

When the Mexico quake hit on 3/20 I knew it would be adopted as a "Hit" by 188 dayers, especially if it is the biggest event from Mar 20 to 24. If the cycle is due to a HMO out there somewhere then actually a +- 2 day window to me is acceptable. But of course the DAY and TIME and much higher MAG has been put out there, putting forecasters into a self imposed box. If there is merit to this pattern, March 20th was probably it, just like the Sept 2011 "hit" was of a lower MAG than expected. Must admit though, have not looked at all the 188 day material. |
