Baphomet



Eliphas Lévi is probably most famous for this illustration of Baphomet in his book “Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie” published in 1855.

He originally studied to enter the Roman catholic priesthood and went on to have links with a Secret Society known as Rosicrucianism which was symbolized by the Rosy Cross. Rosicrucianism was influential to Freemasonry.

Eliphas Lévi also had a deep impact on the magic of the Order of the Golden Dawn and later on the ex-Golden Dawn member Aleister Crowley major sex magick, occultist. Who is known for having said, “Oh, how superior is the Eye of Horus to the Mouth of Isis!” – Aleister Crowley ' Thereby identifying the “Eye of Horus,” as the anus.

In the image a pouch and probes are clearly visible, as are breasts.

The eye only sees what it recognizes and so most are totally blind to both the pouch and the probes but they are there, as is the phallus, right in the middle of them.

The arms of Baphomet bear the Latin words SOLVE (dissolve) and COAGULA (congeal).

Basically what happens is each feeds from the others body, via them dissolving their very flesh and making it into milk, amniotic fluid or sperm, this is them ingested by the other and becomes their flesh and on and on. So dissolving the body and then it congealing in the other.
