Re: Is drowning painful?
They did this on TV once , you may be able to find it on youtube .

A guy was on a surfboard in a swimming pool , he described exactly what was going to happen as he drowned . I think he had waits around his legs from memory . There were several lifesavers around the pool ready to save him .

He rolled off the board , cameras under water rolling , filming his struggle for air . He eventually took a huge breath or water and died . They pulled him out , felt his pulse , there was none and then they revived him so he could tell the story .

I hope it is on youtube , it was very interesting .

Re: Is drowning painful?
it does hurt in a way, but its more of a panic/anxiety your body goes through, because your lungs are not getting air.

it cant be that painful..like the above replier..you would go through anxiety and the feeling of unable to breath..if thats even considered pain.

You will be struggling for air..you would probably then start to feel like fainting then finally blacking out. Keep in mind at that moment of blacking out your still not dead..so basically your just passing out..the drowning actually happens after that when your already knocked out..so it cant be that painful ..at least thats how i feel.

I do know interrogators were using 'waterboarding' to get info from terrorists...its torture because you feel like your drowning. So i think the anxiety is pretty darn extreme.

Have you ever had liquid go "down the wrong tube"? Ever accidentally inhale water through your nose?
I'd imagine drowning could be pretty painful.

Re: Is drowning painful?
Most people die of suffocation and not drowning.
This is because they hold their breathe out of fear of breathing in water.

1) "Dry drowning" No water in the lungs, upon subconscious reflex the throat locks shut.

2) "Wet drowning" there is water in the lungs. Upon the feeling of breaking point, the conscious decision to inhale is made and water floods the lungs quickly introducing no oxygen and causing a black out.

Re: Is drowning painful?
All death has a part of agonizing which sucks, but then you're gone and well that's the end of the story.

I imagine drowning is better than burning alive. Probably dying of hypothermia is a good way to go, just fall asleep and die.
"White privilege" is the liberal religion's version of Original Sin: you are born guilty, and you carry that burden of guilt all your life, and the only way to escape eternal damnation is for white people confess their sin, to bow, kneel and believe the dogma of the Church of Liberalism, genuflect at its altars, honor its saints, fill the collection plate, and never, ever doubt.

you cant drawn in the sleep, it is like you would jump from the empire state building and die. its not possible. i have jumped enough ESP to know that.
the only thing you need is a calm mind. and youre ego should be at "were sleeping now".

Re: Is drowning painful?
I'm pretty sure there's a brief moment where you feel like your brain and lungs are about to go BAM.
Love is not the game, life is.
-
When we wake up in this "reality" every morning, we are actually falling asleep, because only in our dreams we are truly awake.
-
We are not our body, nor our mind. We are not the voice in our body, nor our head. We are the the here and now, experiencing without any input from either of the mentioned above.
-
It's not about others forgiving you, but whether you can forgive yourself.
-
It doesn't take much energy to make the wrong decision. But to make the right one, you have to put every fiber of your being to it.
-
I know i have a lot to work on. But knowing that there's no hairy ass man in the clouds to judge me when I have little bit of fun on the expense of someone elses ignorance, makes life a whole lot easier.
