Re: Movie: "The Hunger Games" > Satanic Ritual for Teens. More Illuminati Mass-Conditioning
I'v enjoyed reading them (and I'm an adult). It is a rather serious topic for juvenile literature, but given all the things we talk about around our kids, I can't say that it really is any different. The books have a very strong female character and a lot of passages debating moral dilemmas. I agree with an earlier post that the books make you want to fight back/revolt rather than succumb to tptb. And the books give aome interesting commentary to the whole phenomenon of reality tv.

I don't really see anything wrong with them, and I look forward to the film.

Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ was a good movie too.
Yet the movie had the Christ shown with a single eye covered in certain scenes. Something like this:
[link to www.google.co.in]

The one eyed Illuminati symbollism was pretty prevalent in the movie.

They use subliminals. ITs actually pretty difficult to catch all the programming that goes into these movies, as it is not entirely done by humans.
There are demon energies too present.

So, you need to watch it keeping that in mind.
The movie maybe cloaked in superficial moralities, and at times will seem to encourage you to rebel and fight against the evil, but its what you're not looking at that matters.

Yes the subject matter is horrific, but it's meant to be. That's the whole premise. Istead of legitimising it, the books make it clear that it should not conitnue.

A savvy parent would use the books to talk about these issues with their child/ren and use the books to open discussions about ethics, social mores and how the world should be.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12565952

Yes. It's "The Lottery" for the current generation of kids. As a previous poster pointed out, kids killing kids is already happening. Child soldiers are accepted as normal and recruited in many countries (the "careers"?).

I probably would have loved reading this as a teen. It certainly would have fueled my rebel spirit rather than indoctrinate me into accepting such a fate for humanity.
For nothing is secret that will not be revealed…

Re: Movie: "The Hunger Games" > Satanic Ritual for Teens. More Illuminati Mass-Conditioning
the author came up with the idea for the Hunger games while watching us invade Iraq on TV and then flipping the channel to see a reality show and then suddenly realizing that there wasn't much of a difference between the reality show and the televised war, which made her feel uneasy.
I read this on Wikipedia if you want to check.

To me this is a valid concern that's good for teens to be consious of, it demonizes the glorification of violence by putting you in the shoes of the victims.

Actually... The book is about exposing corrput goverments, and is basically a parody on how sick our society is in retrospect... No we don't send kids into battles for death, but we do In Contrast prepare our kids for worthless task which enable us to buy materalistic items. The last two books show how even though it takes a complete toll on many citizens to rebel against the system, but with an enourmous cost yet the price of freedom is worth it.

Basically OP, you don't know shit and stop acting like you do.

Yes, please do read the books before forming an opinion. And I wouldn't be surprised that other bits get added into the film that wasn't in the movie. For example, a large part of the book is internal monologue, that is to say, the main character thinking about her experiences. I'm not sure how well a film will be able to depict this very important part of the book. Before you make a judgement, consider reading the books first!

This is true. The Word of God never set out to cover up and dilute the evil that runs rampant in the hearts of mankind, unlike the controlled mind set of "peace" in this age of coverup.

As far as certain tribes being wiped out - it was their judgement. God put an end to their Moloch worship of passing a live child through the fire every morning so the sun would come up and the grass would be green.

Why shouldn't kids go see this film? It will teach them to be weary of their government, to realize that if left unchecked, the government could snatch up their freedom and force them to participate in bloodsports for their entertainment.

We NEED the youth to ask more questions about who's in control and what they are capable of.. this movie (and the book it is based on) does just that- it shows how horrifying our future could become if we stay complacent and let our rights be stripped away.

Only an ignorant boob wouldn't realize how great an opportunity this is to tune kids into current events and make them more aware of how malicious those with power can be.

I enjoyed the book. I guess like any work of "art" people will read whatever into it whatever they want.

To me the book represented standing up against a cruel and inhumane culture, being true to your own moral compass regardless of impossible odds. Being willing to fight injust laws in order to feed and protect your family and community etc...

Seems like these would be things even right-wing

Ok, I read the books and went to the movie, tonight..it was well done...very much on line with the book...so much better than atlas shrugged. Now, I understand what you are saying, but, I am glad my kids read the books. I think they need to see what can happen to the world where people are controlled. I guess we just see it differently. I want my kids to know that it is not all leave it to beaver. I also teach my kids how to survive out in the wild and prepare them for when the shtf...that is just my take and the way I see it..:)

Re: Movie: "The Hunger Games" > Satanic Ritual for Teens. More Illuminati Mass-Conditioning
This is long term programming.
The aim: to create a compassion-less society.

The progress is gradual.
Remember the Chinese movie where they show this two year old girl being mowed down by a truck and nobody noticing?

Warning: Graphic , discretion advised:

[link to www.youtube.com]

Thats the goal.
The programming for that society is complete.
Emotionless zombies.

But its still imcomplete for countries like the US, and the rest of the world. So the programming has to go on.

1. First they send your children to fascist style schools, where they are indoctrinated into a prison-like environment.
2. They are fed popular fare that indoctrinates them into satanic rituals: The HARRPY POTTER series.
3. As they grow up, they are fed violent, blood-shedding video games, that makes killing as casual as picking up a cup of coffee.
4. They grow up watching harsh reality shows where their brains are numbed with programming.

Now, ....they are almost there.

So Im quoting someone who has read the book , and has seen the movie.

But, knowing what you know, how long does it take you to figure it out?
Its like a sense you develop, you instinctively 'sense' mind control before you know what it is.

Will be seeing the movie in all its gore shortly.
My personal comments will be added then.

Just saw the movie. (theatre).
Awesome!
I think everybody on GLP should see this movie.
Picked up a few things. Need to put them together.

Current overall verdict:
Movie is worth seeing. You come out feeling totally good.
You sympathize with the girl and her beau.
Movie creates a very very anti-establishment feeling.
You really feel like going up there and killing everybody in that Government in the movie.
Personally my feeling was why this overwhelmingly anti-government or anti-establishment attitude was being created?

What were they pushing us toward?

The deeper stuff later on this thread.
Need to put it all together.
Yes there are stuff you missed. :)
Stay tuned.
