For me, I sort of went into shock. I've been sort of apathetic since I saw it. I want to try to spread it around so other people know. We need to get away from the monetary system and consumerism and move towards a resource-based economy

It's good to see one as young as you on the search for Truth.
But you must remember - even if a certain philosophy or concept rings true in your heart- it is still part of the Matrix, and also any concept using human language cannot come close to describing the awe and glory of "What You Really Are". ALL of this.....all this "stuff" you sense upon waking every day.....all is nothing but an illusion that your higher self picks out like a Netflix movie.

The ONLY thing that is truly REAL is Yourself. ALL this other "stuff" is nothing but background scenery that you build experiences around. You are a fractal that is fragmented a gazillion times in a gazillion dimensions. And as you start to "get wise" , more and more pieces of yourself come together and your knowledge and power increase.

This "fragment" you call you is one (or more) card in an unlimited card catalog in the library of ALL THAT YOU ARE. And when you have a good enough hand of cards, all of a sudden you might have an Awakening.......a Remembering of Who You Really Are. And you realize that You are It. You are ALL.......and it finally will dawn on you that............

You Are God.

Welcome to Matrix 2.0 - You've not been set free you've just moved to a new set of game rules, ffs will people give it up already.

You think now you're somehow more in touch with the real world and you know whats going on? Give over, you haven't a clue like the rest of the planet. You've just been drawn into this whole conspiracy thing and now distrust and ignore anything coming from authoritive type figures/organisations.

But whatever call it freedom, truth or whatever its all the same. The issue you will face is when cold hard reality hits you and you no longer question if all of the crap you ingest on the internet is actually true and if you no longer do this then perhaps you should consider yourself mental.

But congratz you're awake and free and you are no longer a sheep! You've progressed and become aware, spritually! HOORAH. Or perhaps you've just been overwhelmed by the scary stories you've read on the internet and believe it all to be real?

A resource based economy is inherently unsupportable, breeds a feudal class system and offers absolutely no room for the growth of a society.

Let me ask you this, who do you think will be working in the fields, gathering the resources, while enlightened people like yourself will be doing "more important work"?

The truth is that both you and I will be working in the fields, gathering the resources needed to support the society while the exact same elites we have now will be living a plush and comfortable lifestyle.

I know that zeitgeist mentioned the use of robots to work the fields. Firstly, we don't have that technology yet, secondly who will maintain and monitor the robots? It will be people of the lower class, people like you and I.

I can appreciate your quest for truth but you have to learn to see through lies like "a resource based economy".

If you can't see that this supposed utopia will breed a society where an elite minority exists with a vast separation from the majority of people who will be in the lower class then you still have a lot of learning and growing to do.

It's ok, I thought I knew everything when I was your age too. Take some time, experience life, see what things are like in different places, you will begin to understand how the world works.

Op your story sound like my life but we you and I are on different paths. I am currrently looking at the Buddhistic way of looking at this so called matrix or Illusory world we call existance or reality.

The Buddha dude discovered these truths himself but can not show these truths to people except show them how they can obtain these truths for themselves via a non grasping practice of meditation. He however did not have all the answers but he told people who want to experiance this reality of enlightenment the methods by which they can experiance and know what the Buddha knew but more as explorers within their natural divine mind that all beings possess. It is just we can't realize this truth due being bombarded by self delusions constantly 24/7 to many damn distractions it seems to ever have that quiet time inner time of meditating simply not fighting with ones self but letting go and enjoying the moment of self exploration into the inner unknown. We all think differently so not one Illusory being knows what is true and is not true.

There are many subtle traps, as the matrix is playing against you right now, and will turn your intentions to their purpose.

Like I said, if you can't see through the obvious problems inherent in this resource based utopia then you really still have a lot to learn.

Take a second and imagine life in a society that movies like the latest Zeitgeist propose. Do you honestly believe that you will be more free in such a society? Think about it.

A society like this will only avoid total destruction if every member of it, every individual like you and I, buys into it and places the society above their own personal happiness and well being. A society like this inherently necessitates an authoritarian control over its constituent individuals. Every facet of life will need to be controlled and regulated to ensure the continued survival of the system itself.

This control and regulation will naturally necessitate a system of power where by a few individuals exercise nearly limitless control over the lives of the masses which make up the society. Strict obedience to this regulatory minority would be the only option.

You would not have the right or ability to dissent. You could not protest or refuse to perform your socially imposed duties. You would not be able to advance yourself or better your station in life. There would be no hope for improvement unless you were somehow lucky enough to be in the regulatory minority.

I believe I know why this flawed utopian concept is so popular among younger people these days. Many younger people have found themselves in a world in transition. There is no longer the "typical American life" that our parents and grandparents enjoyed yet we have not arrived at that point which the society of the 21st century has stabilized.

This concept of a resource based society, and other ideas like it, offer a pleasant escape. It offers a proposed solution where the young people of our time wouldn't need to be concerned with the difficulty of finding employment, the high cost of housing and food and the frustration which comes with realizing that life is going to be harder than they had imagined while in school.

The truth is, however, that fantasizing about a world in which life is determined for you, where you have no need to worry, struggle or make hard decisions for yourself, is distracting you from the real work that you need to do.

Freedom is an individual right. If you truly want to be free then you must make yourself free. No one can grant you freedom, no one will offer it to you. You must work diligently to free your mind, to think for yourself and gain a true and clear understanding of the world in which you live.

If you are truly free, no one can take that from you.
