Why don't they also advocate for all the killings in Chicago?

In the last week, South Lawndale recorded three homicides, police data shows.

On Wednesday, a man was fatally shot in the 2800 block of South Kildare Avenue, officials said. On Saturday, a 6-year-old girl was shot to death in the 3100 block of South Springfield Avenue, police said. Three days earlier, a 19-year-old man was fatally shot in the 3000 block of South St. Louis Avenue, officials said.

Meanwhile, a 58-year-old man was beaten to death Sunday in the 3500 block of West Lawrence Avenue in Albany Park, police said.

Thirty-three homicides have been recorded so far in March. Police logged 22 homicides in March last year, RedEye found.

If Treyvon called 91 before being murdered then Zimmerman is toast. If it was a known fact prior to today that Treyvon Martin called 911 before being mudrered then the entire city of Sabford is toast.

I don't know about all of the other murders in the area, this one is sad enough to watch unfold.

Hopefully things get cleaned up in the areas you are talking about.

It would seem a great deal of attention is being given to Sanford and surrounding areas.

and then of course this Trayvon incident, again, in Sanford. All within a 60 or so mile radius.

Aside from Sanford's recent (past 20 years) progression from a small nobody town known only for the once NAS and running Jackie Robinson out of town, is now a fairly good booming IT business town -- or was, before the economic collapse, it may still be.

Regardless. Sure does seem like a lot of attention is being had within the area and does make me wonder if any of it is connected.

But, eh.. back to the 911 call. Very interesting.

will someone please explain to me why this murder is getting so much attention? i understand it was an innocent child murdered in cold blood, but why aren't other cases like this given this much publicity?

And it took them this long to come out and say this happened. Sorry but now it smells kind of fishy. They would have mentioned this a long time ago if it were true.

Seems to me they want to use this case to discredit "stand your ground" or other similar laws.

bad reporting. Zimmerman was the one who made the call. This is whathappens when u get yur news from a local media station.

One factor is the apparent gross negligence of the police in investigating this shooting. This case cried out for a thorough investigation rather than simply declaring Zimmerman acted in self defense in what is probably record time.

All the calls need to be looked a, and put together with Zimmerman's behavior. Whether the can decipher Trayvon's call or not, it is very telling if he called 911. It is a strong indication that Zimmerman was acting way out of line.

It WAS thoroughly investigated! This happened over a month ago! The media decided to jump on it now and stir up a racial issue and idiots like you are siding with the wrong person!

Trayvon Martin was in a hoodie; Zimmerman was in red.

"When I got upstairs and looked down, the guy who was on top beating up the other guy, was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point," John said.

I don't know all the facts, im not going to lie, i new nothing of this story until yesterday when someone on FB was complaining about how "racist" everyone it......But i really do feel they are trying to make this a race war

I had wondered if he had called 911.

Seems to me people on both sides of the issue are jumping to conclusions based upon news reports that may or may not be correct and/or factual.

You've also got people on boths sides trying to foment racial divisions.

Like they say, "Just the facts Maam".

I am sure the police in this case will ferret out the facts and recommend to the district attourney what they have found.

What makes you think I hate the Second Amendment?

I have a great respect for all of our constitution, and the 2nd Amendment is way up on my list. What I don't like is people who are bullies that think that because they have a gun, they are some sort of badass out to change the world.

Zimmerman was a coward from everything that I've seen. If he is convicted of anything in this whole mess, I hope that is a wakeup call for people to really sit and think about the responsibility of carrying a gun.

Maybe Zimmerman confronted the teenager and the teenager started fighting back fearing for his life. Zimmerman should not have been following him, expecially when the cops told him that they didn't need him to do that. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

This murder case is a government psyop for 2 reasons:

1) to advocate race tension to trigger race conflict (this is Obama trying to pump up the black community to vote for him).

2) to advocate for more gun control (the communists want you disarmed so they can come kill you without compunction).

If Jesse Jackson, Sharpton and the OP get there way it will unfold in the streets you silly race baiters!

Sorry but I highly doubt Trayvon called 911, The media is so desperate to paint the teen thug as a good little angel. They would have mentioned this a long time ago.

Maybe this is bad reporting, I am just passing along what I found. I hope there is a tape though. It would be nice to get the victims statement.
