Why don't they also advocate for all the killings in Chicago?

In the last week, South Lawndale recorded three homicides, police data shows.

On Wednesday, a man was fatally shot in the 2800 block of South Kildare Avenue, officials said. On Saturday, a 6-year-old girl was shot to death in the 3100 block of South Springfield Avenue, police said. Three days earlier, a 19-year-old man was fatally shot in the 3000 block of South St. Louis Avenue, officials said.

Meanwhile, a 58-year-old man was beaten to death Sunday in the 3500 block of West Lawrence Avenue in Albany Park, police said.

Thirty-three homicides have been recorded so far in March. Police logged 22 homicides in March last year, RedEye found.

will someone please explain to me why this murder is getting so much attention? i understand it was an innocent child murdered in cold blood, but why aren't other cases like this given this much publicity?

In this case, the shooter has not been charged with a crime.
The law says you must charge the shooter- the court decides if it was self-defense, even with the StandYourGround Law. For some reason, he was never charged.

Secondly, cover-up attempts appear to have been made,
thus it is now a federal investigation.

This murder case is a government psyop for 2 reasons:

1) to advocate race tension to trigger race conflict (this is Obama trying to pump up the black community to vote for him).

2) to advocate for more gun control (the communists want you disarmed so they can come kill you without compunction).

Well, these pictures didn't scare me. I saw a skinny kid cutting up, akin' like a gangsta. They all do it at that age. White kids, too.

I also saw a fat, obnoxious, stupid, white-trash redneck, making racist insinuations. (Also, did you notice the words, "Civil War II" on the blackboard behind him?)

And I can call him out because I am from the South. In fact, my family, on both sides, have lived in Georgia and South Carolina for three hundred years, so I am the real deal. Not a Yankee transplant like Newt Gingrich. Or a wannabe like Mike Huckabee ('cause everybody knows that Arkansas isn't the real South.)
So I know a white-trash, racist redneck when I see one. By the time I was twelve, I could spot white trash from a mile away.
But I guess that you don't have to be down south texadnative born to see that that guy is also fat and stupid. I mean, really stupid. Dirt stupid.

I don't know about all of the other murders in the area, this one is sad enough to watch unfold.

Why is everyone so afraid to call Zimmerman a racist here? I mean he called Trayvon a "fucking coon" on his 911 call. Isn't that enough for you??

I know you want so badly for Trayvon to be the thug that attacked but 1. You have a witness that said he SAW Zimmerman on top of Trayvon and Trayvon yelling for help. 2. You have Zimmerman calling Trayvon a racial slur on the phone. 3. You have Zimmerman chasing down someone with a gun for no apparent reason. According to Trayvon family he was there (in the community) with his father right? So that throws out him having no reason to be there. If Trayvon was running from him (like Zimmerman said himself in the 911 tape) then how do you all figure for some reason he decided to come back and beat up the person following him??

Come on now...I know you all are so afraid for someone who is not black to turn out to be racist but seriously...this is pretty obvious racism on Zimmerman part.

I am a gun owner myself and I am cool with the stand your ground law and the castle doctrine and whatever else that allows us to protect ourselves....but I wear hoodies, and am black, and I think this sucks that someone like this is giving gun owners (and carriers) a bad name. I see all the time on gun websites people laying out this same type of scenario. This is the reason I don't visit most gun sites anymore. The scenario is always like this:

"Ok guys...If I am out walking and see some thug guy approaching me and looks threatening, like he wants to rob me...is it ok for me to pull my gun? Is this the right time to take off the safety??"

And me seeing these types of threads is what makes me nervous. It is almost like certain people can't wait to be in a scenario where they can shoot a "thug". I think Zimmerman was one of them.

I have known a few "thugs" or "gangsters" that did not dress like people thinks thugs and gansters dress, so judging people by clothing is pretty stupid and dangerous. I think people like that should not be able to own guns if you don't have enough common sense to know that...because that is proof that someone has poor judgement and someone with poor judgement really shouldn't be walking around with a firearm.

And it took them this long to come out and say this happened. Sorry but now it smells kind of fishy. They would have mentioned this a long time ago if it were true.

I just read on ABC news that Trayvon Martin made his own call to 911 moments prior to the shooting. The DOJ is digging up his call from the dispatch center. Zimmerman may get roasted with that tape, then again hopefully they roast him anyways.

Zimmerman is a psychopath. He has made dozens of 911 calls prior to this, tailed many random people before this, took firearm classes, bought a weapon, acted like the tough guy in the neighborhood, and became the head of a neighborhood watch at the age of 28, based on his previous experience working as a security guard.

He gradually grew in courage, developed a relationship with the local PD, and one day, saw a perfect opportunity to act on his instinct. He called 911 to establish his alibi, and went after the kid.

After the shooting, he gave his side of the story, and his buddies in the PD cleared him. He received many pats on the back.

But he did not count on two things. One, Trayvon had a spotless record, was well liked, and lived near the area.

Two, at least two neighbors heard the altercation, and Trayvon's screams and cries and reported it to the PD. But the PD kept their statement hidden, until the two witnesses approach Trayvon's mother and lawyer. Inquiries revealed that their statement was indeed ignored by the PD, and crime scene data matched their account of the incident.

It began to smell like a cover up, but the PD refused to back down. So more and more people started getting involved until finally, the story was picked up by the networks.

If your story about the 911 call from Trayvon is true, then it confirms that Zimmerman is a psychopath.

I'm tired of hearing people with their idiotic fantasies about a race war or someone trying to spark on. Black people have been through lynching, Jim crow, slavery, racial profiling, terrorism for centuries now and have NOT done anything to indicate their wish is to exterminate white people. In fact they have killed more of their own than white people... black people are some of the most turn the cheek kumbaya people (when it comes to white people ) on the planet. You have more of a chance of CHINA launching a race war than black people. In fact China has been preparing to roll on your asses for a hundred years.

There are a lot of smart white people but there sure as hell a lot of you stupid motherfuckers too!

Also reading these statements makes me realize just how many white people on glp live in a fucking bubble and don't know enough about black youth to know that just because they wear a style of clothing does not mean they are 'tough' ...

In the black community we are fully aware of what's referred to as the 'studio gangster' .... the Guy who dresses tough.. may spit out a few rap verses... but if it came down to a real fight he'd be just as scared as the next Guy.. and nine times out of ten he has no clue what its like to be a real 'thug'

My son dresses tough.... my son has worn gold teeth...my son has taken pictures in tough poses... my son is an A student. My son has never had a fight in his life and you know what if some man white or black was following him at not he'd be scared shitless. So he'd do one or two things.... he'd run or he might try to be a tough Guy and walk up to the Guy and face him.
